Miki watched things play out quietly, from the shadows. In other circumstances, he might have stepped forward sooner, and yet, unknown to him, his powers were spiralling out of control. He could hear their thoughts, all of them, echoing in his mind, all simultaneously; it was different from the whispers he normally heard because all of them were so intense right now it was almost crippling. But when he felt the Raven Prince begin to encroach on Mythos' mind, it gave him clarity. Despite how confused he was, trying to separate his own thoughts from all of theirs, he had to try to set this right somehow. Rue couldn't keep doing this. She'd already hurt Fakir, and badly... and she'd only lose Mytho if she continued this. Slowly, the boy stepped out of the shadows.
"Rue-san... Even if he was able to love you right now, why can't he care about his friends, too? You can't keep him all to yourself. That... That isn't what a prince is. Princes save everyone. If you love him, it should be for who he is, not for what you want to make him into."
