Never Fear, Nurse Petrelli is Here [INCOMPLETE]
WHO: Blue Beetle, Robin III, Cloud9, Peter Petrelli whatever nickname you gave yourself lol.
WHERE: Avengers Mansion
WHEN: Dec 21, mid-afternoonish
FORMAT: Quickie
WARNINGS: Naw.
The first thing Jaime noticed when he gained consciousness was that his ears were ringing. That annoying high-pitched tone one sometimes get for apparently no reason. And yeah, it was annoying. He grimmaced, squinting, then blinking away sleep as he sat up.
"Urh..."
His back hurt. Head, too. Feet...kind of. They stuck out of the blanket at the other end of the sofa. He slowly noted that this was not a sofa he'd seen before, and drowsily began to scan the room. It was full of energy trails that he'd never seen before except--
Abby?
She was curled up in a chair near the other end of the room. He gaped, going through the reasons why she'd be there and not at her apartment and trying to not be so bothered by the fact that it was probably to keep an eye on him. I probably snored like all night long.
Speaking of. It was already past noon. Two days past his...experiment. The knowledge flooded back and layed down on him like a sack of bricks. He flopped back down on the pillow laid out for him and sighed, rubbing his forehead.
"Can't do anything right," he mumbled.
