Kiryu watches until the end, until he's sure Cavil isn't breathing anymore. Just knowing that he was dead, knowing for sure...it was satisfying.

But he couldn't be totally happy about it.

He hopped off the table and scowled down at Cavil, looking over him one more time to make sure. Then he headed out after Saitou, hoping he could catch up with him. Maybe he could convince Saitou to get breakfast with him today.
