Her movements were quick and precise, she managed to remove every last scrap of paper and ribbon without so much as a tear or a fumble. The box itself came last, of course, and as she lifted the lid her emerald eyes widened in awe. Air sucked between her teeth, she gazed silently at the necklace, too moved to speak.
