[Bruce was supposed to come to Betty's new apartment for Christmas Eve. She's only just gotten her hands on the place, barely moved in, but she had a small tree, and she had enough food for them both.
Bruce was late by an hour. Then by two.
So Betty came to him, wrapped in her long coat, legs still frozen in her short dress. She'd dressed up nice for tonight dammit!
And here he was bent over his desk, as usual...]
So does this just mean you're not hungry or what?
