Ffffff more late Christmas gifts exchange [COMPLETE]
WHO: Tommy (Speed) and Cassie (Stature)
WHERE: Tommy and Cassie's apartment
WHEN: December 26th evening
WHAT: Moar gift exchange and a kiss

Tommy: *comes back from shopping on the 26th because he is just that awesome and basically hides in his room to wrap gifts - he comes out just a short while later with Cassie's and leaves it in the middle of the living room so she sees it whenever she comes back from work* *goes to Jaime and co's house to leave them their gift* *is back at the beginning of the evening - Cassie is not back yet so he keeps himself busy with the TV while waiting*
Cassie: *stumbles into the apartment, hair a mess, with flower all over her* You'd think once Christmas is over, people wouldn't need so many pies and cakes... but nooooo it just gets worse... *looks over at Tommy* Have you been sitting there all day?
Tommy: *closes the TV and smiles at her* No, I haven't. Had a great day, uh?
Cassie: *rolls her eyes and plops down on the couch* I've only been working there like a week, but I already want a vacation.
Tommy: *is not going to mention the gift that is basically standing in front of her because it's funnier that way* Hey, maybe you'll get fired because they over-employed for Christmas. *shrugs*
Cassie: *grins slightly* I doubt that. Unless they want Superboy baking. Which is not something I actually want to chance. *rolls her neck to pop it and blinks at the gift* What's that?
Tommy: That's a gift.
Cassie: *looks over to him* You actually got me something?
Tommy: *raises an eyebrow because he was expecting something more in the lines of 'you're late'* Yeah, I did. I wasn't supposed to
Sophie: ?*
Cassie: *blushes a bit* Well I just didn't think you would. *looks around* I did get you some stuff... guess I was to embarrassed to give it all to you.
Tommy: *smirks* Just say you were waiting to see if I gave you something first.
Cassie: *shakes head and gets up* Let me just get the boxes I got. *wonders off to get them out of her room*
Tommy: *waits for her to come back* So - who's opening whose gift first?
Cassie: *comes back with like twin boxes and drops them into Tommy's lap* Well, I'd say you can get started now. *smirks slightly*
Tommy: Sure, if you say so. *unwraps the first box and looks at the clothes, smirking* Is that an indirect comment about the way I dress?
Cassie: *blushes slightly* No. I just didn't know what to get you. Clothes seemed like the best bet.
Tommy: I was kidding. For your information, I stayed away from clothes because you girls are too picky about them. *looks through the box to find jeans that are miraculously the right size and t-shirts with quotes like 'Aliens made me do it' on them - oh, and a black with with 'A. D. D.' in very big white font*
Cassie: *looks to the box* It's a good idea to keep away from clothes for me. Though anything pink would normally work. *she smiles slightly and goes back to watching him open his own gifts*
Tommy: *puts the first box aside and opens the second gift - it's a green box with one shirt in it, a custom-made shirt that copies Quicksilver's green and silver's costume with the words 'I'm just like Quicksilver' on the front.* Hey now, that's not true. He can't make anything explode from what I've heard.
Cassie: *giggles* Turn it over dork.
Tommy: *raises an eyebrow and does as asked - the words 'But I'm SO much better' cover the back of the shirt* Oh, okay, *smiles* that one I'll wear.
Cassie: Figured you'd like that. *grins* Was going to get something like that for Billy but with The Scarlet Witch... but I couldn't bring myself to do it.
Tommy: *will not comment on the last sentence* Well, thanks, they're cool. *puts the boxes on the ground and grabs Cassie's gift from him to give it to her* Your turn.
Cassie: *nods and takes the box opening it very slowly*
Tommy: *sighs but after spending time with Robin, slowness is kind of okay*
Cassie: *shakes head and opens it all the way. Pulls out the teddy bear and resists the urge to squeal over how cute it was.* Thank you Tommy. The green's a nice shade too.
Tommy: Of course it is *smirks but is relieved because he has no inspiration ever for gifts*
Cassie: Kind of reminds me of you. *holds the bear out to look at it* Needs a pair of bright orange goggles and I'll call him Tom Tom.
Tommy: *wtf giiiiiiiirls* You don't really have to name it.
Cassie: No, guess I really don't. *looks over to him and bites her bottom lip* Um.. Tommy, I do have one more gift. If you want it. It's not wrapped or anything...
Tommy: As if I was going to say no. I don't mind if it's not wrapped.
Cassie: *blushes brightly and gets up. Looks back to her room and then back to Tommy.* Oh this is stupid... *moves towards Tommy and grabs his head in her hands and kisses him hard*
Tommy: *opens his eyes in surprise before closing them and just kissing back, putting a hand in her hair - he hadn't made any move like that on Cassie mostly because of Billy and Kate who seemed to assume he was bounded to hurt her and would certainly accuse him of moving things too fast but if Cassie was the one moving things forward he wasn't going to complain* *they pull back a little almost simultaneously and Tommy leaves his hand loosely entangled by her ear* That was nice.
Cassie: *blushes brightly and nods a bit* Merry Christmas Tommy.
Tommy: Merry belated Christmas to you, too. Hmm - does that mean we should consider we're really going out together or something?
Cassie: *closes eyes and moves away* Do you want to say that? I know there are going to be a few people who won't like that.
Tommy: I think they're already not liking it anyway. *shrugs* And uh - well, I don't know. Billy just lost Teddy so I wouldn't really be going around telling it, no. I guess it'd be more for the two of us. Your call, really.
Cassie: It would be nice to have another date or two before it became official. *looks away and rubs at her arms*
Tommy: *more wtf giiiiirls but he's not too surprised about her answer* Sure, I don't have any problems with that. It's not as if we'd stop having dates anyway.
Cassie: Glad to hear that. So you'll be my date to the New Years Party? *large smile*
Tommy: *frowns* Which New Year Party?
Cassie: The one Hellion's throwing. I think everyones going to that one. Heard it was going to be at the Avengers Mansion too.
Tommy: Okay, uh, sure.
Cassie: Good, it'll make date number two. And if you're lucky, you'll get kiss number two at midnight. *runs a hand through her hair* Ew... *lowers hand and heads to the bathroom* I need a shower.
Tommy: *laughs* Yes, you do. *smirk* Wanna watch a movie after you're done cleaning up?
Cassie: *looks back at him and smiles* Sure, you set it up. I'll be out in a minute.
Tommy: *sets up ~a movie~ and waits for Cassie, smiling because well, at least his life is not going terribly badly :)*
