He had been told before - he couldn't remember if it was Tim or Batman but if it was Batman he had never listened to his own advice - that fighting while being angry was the worst thing to do ever. He had tried meditating over Tim deciding he needed time to think and leaving him a neat little note with basically no information at all and it had failed. With him gone, no one was opposing to Dick patrolling alone and beating down thugs was going to be way more efficient to calm himself down than anything else.

He was near downtown, hovering over alleyways when he saw a girl being stopped by a single man with a knife. She was far enough to run away from him but didn't seem to mind getting mugged, calm, as if every thing was perfectly fine. Dick sighed - wonderful, she was struck with fear and wasn't going to take care of herself.

He redirected himself to fall between the man and the girl and took him out without any difficulty. He wasn't experienced - only a guy with a knife that thought he could mug people and get away with it because of it. Dick tied his hands behind his back and left him to lie unconscious on the ground - he'd call the prison and let Green Arrow take care of it later.

Turning towards the girl, Dick took a good look at her - she was younger than he though, maybe a year or two older than he was himself. Still, it was not an excuse to stay still when being attacked. And even now, she wasn't making any move to leave.

"Next time try to get away," said Dick, annoyed.
