[ Elisa had been transfixed when Saitou turned to her. She still stared up defiantly, but it was rapidly becoming an expression to mask her complete and utter confusion. But she doesn't back away, and she doesn't look away.

After all, she asked for this.

He's touching her cheek again and tilting her head upwards. For a man that avoided contact, he's done this with a surprising degree of frequency over the past two days. When did her heart start to speed up? Emotions and thoughts fire off before she even has a chance to register them.

When was the last time she felt this sense of anticipation? God, she wasn't fifteen anymore.

And then he kisses her.

It lasts all of a few seconds, but she closes her eyes and subconsciously leans into the gentle touch. She feels rather than hears his words, warm and damp on the top of her head.

When she opens her eyes again, he's gone. She's not surprised. All she can do to sit down heavily on her hospital bed, weak-kneed and confused. There's dizziness again, but Elisa's not sure how much of that was related to her injury.]

Oh, Elisa girl. What have you gotten yourself into now.

[ And horrible, fickle, guilty, guilty, guilty woman that she is, she can't bring herself to regret it.

It's her secret, and she's not going to share. If anyone asks, it was just a very strange dream. ]
