She walked inside and took off her sunglasses, slipping them into her bag. To be honest, she was thinking along the same lines: what was this other Janet like? What was their relationship like? It was this crazy morbid curiosity that she had to keep a cap on or else it would come off... weird. Still. She wanted to know if somehow, somewhere, it had worked out for them.
"Light and sweet," Janet said casually. She tried to look neutral, disinterested even, but she was totally interested. Out of the corner of her eye she was staring: every move he made, every small gesture reminded her of her own Hank.
It was starting to feel less awkward, at least for her. Even though it wasn't her Hank, it was still Hank. It made no sense, even in her mind, and it was probably better not to dwell on these things.
