With minimal effort, Ryan managed a weak smile, "That would be ideal. I think I may have done something stupid."

While Ryan may have believed that he was smarter than Troy and that may have been generally true, being from a musical entitled him to a least a couple of phenomonally stupid moments. This was one of them.
