Very little got Salaak out of the Warrior's Bar basement. Missiles, threats of nuclear war, and multi-target assault? Well, that had him all but leaping out the door, best he could with those awkward human legs. He didn't wait for confirmation on anything until he was in the air, two of the handful of communicators he possessed in tow, rattling off the updates on-network as they came in while he opened a channel in the others. He should've been more adamant about check-ins, dammit. But now wasn't the time.

"This is Lantern Salaak of the Green Lantern Corps," he announced as he zipped overhead towards the nearest, most congested area of the city targeted. "En route to the nearest hazard zone, coordinates pending. Gardner, Rayner, Iolande: report in immediately with your status and situation. Those of you not currently engaged make your way to my location, I'll--"

Shots fired upward, bouncing off his thin, green flight shield. A closed-up building was swarmed with the antagonistic bipeds of the hour. It was something he should be able to ignore, but the surrounding buildings were nowhere near as secure. He took a minute to broadcast his location before clipping the communicators and freeing up all four hands. Turning himself, Salaak dove down, bullets bouncing off harmlessly as he descended. He fired a volley of bright green pulses through the masses of monsters, pulling up and sweeping overhead, pulling up and gearing to do it again.
