Aaron grabs on to Jono, trying not to give him his best death grip. The man is all he has to keep from falling into the pit, and this close to the bottom, he can identify the acid. He might survive, but it would be a living hell to drop into it.

"Acid." He motions with a nod of his head to the faint light below them. "Get us up." At least now that his fall is halted, he might have a chance to scramble up the sheer surface should he need to, but it'd be a gamble with Jono if the man can't get them out of the chute.
