He wasn't sure why he felt compelled to tell her this, considering her penchant for overreacting when it came to his injuries-- and these were really minor, embarrassing ones-- but Alex spoke anyway.

"Scathach, then Scott, then that kid Josh," he said stonily. "I kind of deserved it anyway."
