SUMMARY: Safeguard overslept, and this is almost late for work. Yea, we can blame this on the most recent comm chat he had with Vector, or the end parts of it. Note: It's all private and perma minicon for Safey. :)

hfgsdhdksjh Was what Safeguard's mind was right now, as he madly darted around his room, pulling on his clothes for the day, picking up socks and shoes and then diving into the kitchen. Aurex was there, mewling, loudly, for food, and it was Safeguard's job to look after her. She would have been hell for those in the kitchen before he woke up, and he did feel a little guilty for it..With a soft murmur of 'Sorry girl', he dished out her food, then started to pull his shoes on.

Slag slag slag slag! He'd slept in, past his alarm as well, and now he was sure he was going to be late and dfhlksjh jkhadkj. ARRGGG!

Thankfully, no one was around to see him juggle feeding Aurex, his shoes and find himself food, though he'd have to forgo that. He didn't even bother tying the shoe laces.

"Sorry girl, I have to run." He murmured, giving her a scritch behind the ears, receiving a happy purr in reward for his attention to her. Really, she owned his heart already.. "Please try and be a good girl. I'll be home after lunch with Schro. I'll see if I can pick you up a treat, too."

A final pat, and he was out the door, and sprinting, though he was soon in the air. He just really, really hoped that he wasn't late for work.

It would be embarrassing.

"Un," Bakura nodded with a fond smile. "Though really, I normally sleep really deeply so she doesn't have much luck!" he laughed. "But I've woken up to find her just sitting on top of me watching intently or nuzzling my face. She may be calm, but when she wants something, she's very insistent and stubborn."

"I sleep as best I can. Sometimes I wake up to find her curled up beside me. It's cute." He grinned, and took a sett, rubbing his eyes, and stiffing down a yawn. "She might have tried to wake me, but.. I was awake longer than I should have been."

"Are you sure you're awake enough to be in at work?" Bakura half teased. "Green tea all right?"

"Yea, I am. And it's fine." He gave a half smile at hos friend, nodding.

Bakura nodded in return, pouring the steaming water with care. "So where was Vector visiting?" he asked, mostly making small talk and hoping that if there were something bothering his friend, general conversation would nudge him to talk on it.

"The other hemisphere. He returned late last night; I was about to go to bed when the comm pinged. He said that fun wasn't his purpose, but he did rest." Safeguard did lineface at that. Fun was to be had in everything, and Safeguard's option of Vector without him was that his bulk? was highly boring; though, of course, this was from a child's point of view.

Bakura, on the other hand, had a different view of these things and gave a big smile as he handed Safeguard his mug of tea.

"Heeeh, sounds neat! Do you know what countries he went to?"
