[Jane was one of the last to make it to shore. Upon seeing the chaos on the beach she was tempted to head back into the water and drown herself.

This city was really fucked up.

Pausing, she patted her ass just to make sure she wasn't sprouting a tail before grabbing her towel and walking right into the thick of things.]

And they say the Hudson is toxic.

[Bight steps over to the only other 'Human' who seemed to have made it out of the water without becoming something else entirely.

Seeming none too bothered about the chilled water that they'd just come from as he approached.]

Got quite the kick to it, it would appear, for most it would seem at least, lucky us.

[He gives a nod to the animals about.]

We'd best make sure they don't go running off. I can translate where needed, they still appear sentient enough.

You speak barnyard?

[What the hell, stranger powers were out there, and in this case his ability would be entirely needed]

Okay, lets figure out which ones are our people and which ones are random tourist animals.

Among others.

[He cast a wry smile across to her at that before nodding and taking on a slightly more serious look.]

Indeed, the tiger there is one of ours at the very least. The rest I'd wager as well.

Hope you speak jungle as well.

[Jane turned to give a few on-lookers a frown]

Oh, a crowd. No, please, don't help the confused ImPorts. I swear if my ass ends up on YouTube I'm punching someone.

Quite fluently, as well as stray and aquatic.

[Bight followed her gaze to the crowd, shaking his head at the sight]

Something that rarely changes it seems, the urge for people to just stop and stare rather than pitch in and help.

I'm sure a few words could help that though.

[She can only raise an eyebrow at him]

I don't make public speeches.

[Jane emphasizes this by walking back into the water to try and gather any stragglers]

[He gives her an amused look at that.]

I'll talk with them then, being a Lord Governor does give one some experience in the matters.

[With that he steps over to the crowd, talking with the gathered people briefly before he turned away and strode easily back towards the waters edge, the crowd soon dispersing for the most part.]
