WHO: [Bad username or site: fuckingshogun title= @ livejournal.com] and OPEN
WHERE: Random City park #159
WHEN: Late Wednesday evening.
WARNINGS: Wordyness?
SUMMARY: Well porting back didn't have a good start like Saitou hoped it would, so he's gone off to mull a bit and get away to collect himself. Maybe be homesick, who knows.
FORMAT: Para
He'd actually gotten to go home.
At first, he was very skeptical when feeling that familiar pull of being dragged away from this reality. The last time it had happened, he'd been gone less than two days, at most. So this last time going home he'd figured it would be a repeat situation. Though, as he now knew, the Porter (since he had yet to find out about her real moniker) had actually granted him some sort of clemency and some extended time home with his family. It still bothered him, now back in the City, that he couldn't remember certain moments of being home... but there was nothing he could do here about it. That feeling of powerlessness against something so infallible bothered him more than he wanted it to.
And Elisa had had to see his video, of course. He scowled even now at the thought. Should have remembered enough when coming back in to filter his entries. But it was too late now. She was furious with him, as she should have been, and there was nothing he could do about that. Smoke an extra pack of cigarettes, maybe, to put his mind off it, but not much more than that. He had the sneaking feeling he was back on the police's Wanted List, because she'd been unusually quiet since then. Either that or she liked filtering things from him personally...
He groaned again as he sat down at a park bench, crossing his arms behind his neck and staring up at the streetlight nearby. Not the best of circumstances to arrive back to, at all. That and he still was unemployed and that made him pace restlessly like no other.
Too many problems, he thought to himself, letting out a sigh. At least for the moment he had some peace and quiet.

Kiryu had a slight point, though; the young man beside him was more likely to get intro trouble than the hacker boy. But Alastair could still be a bad influence at times. And it only made Saitou more exasperated every time one of them was up to something. "I suppose," he replied finally, though it didn't sound like he really meant it. He was drifting again; couldn't help himself much.

Kiryu glanced over again and sighed. Saitou was just going to be broody no matter what, it seemed. He could understand it before, but for this? He'd thought he was joking when he said he'd be giving Saitou something else to think about.

Though Saitou paused when hearing that faint sigh. No doubt his demeanor was bringing Kiryu down, as well, when he really didn't need that. So after a second of thinking on it, he lightly put his hand back on Kiryu's shoulder with a slight smile. Kiryu hadn't come out here to listen to him, either. Obviously there were things on his mind, too. And Saitou didn't mind listening.
"Never mind that. You didn't come all the way out here to watch me mull too much." Another attempt at a smile, though this one was a bit more genuine, before appearing serious again. "You said you knew who had killed one of your friends?" Not the cheeriest of subject changes, but it was something. And it took the center of attention off himself. Which Saitou preferred.

"Yeah. The Major. And I'm sure he had help." His fist clenched again but he was able to stay mostly calm. "He's going to die."

"Killing him won't keep him dead. It's better to render him helpless and no longer a threat and keep him in that condition." Why no we didn't approve of Jason Todd's mutilating the Joker, whyever would you say that.
no subject
Nope, didn't approve of Jason Todd at all...

But that last part made him look over, scrutinizing somewhat. "You know someone already planning an attack." It wasn't a question.

"I don't know what he's planning," Kiryu said after a moment. Which was true; he really had no idea what Shockwave was going to do. Just that he was going to do something eventually.
