WHO: A WHOLE LOT OF PEOPLE, PART DEUX
WHERE: the City! Or, in Jaime's case, space.
WHEN: the morning after these shenanigans, at any time
SUMMARY: Everybody who's been hit by the aftershock from Vector and Chronos' profound failure has to come to at some point! And this is where you file those threads of heinous confusion. It's time for still wasted from the party last night; the re-re-re-re-remix.
That was quite a night, huh? But whatever you did, it's time to wake up now.
Or eventually. Either way.
The circumstances surrounding them may be radically different, but everyone who was affected by the temporal shock has two things in common: a mind that draws a complete blank when it comes to the events of the previous evening, and a killer headache. Enjoy.

because he's probably going to end up staying home the whole time
What the fuck had happened last night? He couldn't even remember eating dinner much less going to bed.

"Good morning, Kiryuu-kun," he greeted, almost cautiously.

But it didn't take long to grab a couple aspirin and appear in the doorway of the bathroom again. "Hey. 's probably better for you..."

He followed his bother over to the couch. "Did you want me to take care of the headache?" he offered, a little worried.

"If I wasn't drinking, what happened? I can't remember..."

Unless Kiryu considered the middle of the night dinner time.
"So you don't remember the time you didn't remember your time in the City, then," Bakura smiled, seeming rather relieved. Not that he was happy Kiryu didn't remember, but he was happy Kiryu remembered him properly again.

...as he was doing right now, unlocking the door and swishing through in his long gray coat with his laptop bag and motorcycle helmet under one arm. "Hey. Guys? Anybody here?"

"Hey," he said, getting to his feet.

He frowned and turned his head away, leaning against Alastair's shoulder. "Yeah, I'm fine. And I know it's not my fault but I'm sorry. I wouldn't forget you."

He breathed a short sigh, the honesty just tumbling out of him. "I'm just bothered that nobody knows what happened, why anybody started acting weird all at once. On the one hand, I'm glad there aren't any chickens in our bathtub. On the other...I don't like anyone messing with you. And I don't like not knowing who or what it was."

He shifted to give Alastair a brief kiss. "Someone'll figure it out. They always do."
no subject
He smiled at the kiss; it was such a relief having everything back to normal so quickly. He didn't want to take it for granted, but Kiryu was right. "Yeah. As long as it doesn't happen again." His arms tightened, holding him close. "I dunno, maybe it was the full moon. Heh."

He fell silent, just enjoying Alastair's presence for a moment. It had been a while since they'd just hung out like this. Even entertaining him during work a few days ago had been full of distractions.
"You know, we haven't done something with just us for a while. No Bakura, no work..."
