Nightmare Moshpit
WHO: Everyone trapped in the Nightmares
WHERE: Nightmare Moshpit
WHEN: Starting Friday, 10am, continuing until the Dreamers are freed from the nightmares
WARNINGS: HIDEOUSNESS, everyone's personal nightmares, will probably have blood, gore, trauma, insanity, etc. Go nuts, people!
SUMMARY: Ysera has plunged half the City into an interconnected nightmare labyrinth. Everyone caught up in the nightmares will experience their own personal nightmare - whatever horrible nightmare they may have (this is totally up to individual players, go nuts). Those with strong willpower and focus, who realize that they're dreaming, can break free from their own personal nightmare and wander the interconnected nightmares of other dreamers.
The dreams are connected subtly. You could open a door that should lead to a room, wanting out and focusing on getting out of the dream, and find yourself entering a location in someone else's nightmare. You could turn a corner in a spooky woods and find yourself in an open field or a cave or deserted building in someone else's nightmare.
Items can be taken from one dream zone into another. You will start out with whatever clothing/items/etc you subconsciously associate as a part of yourself - or with whatever items/clothing your nightmare calls for. If your nightmare is being tortured, you're in chains. If it's being naked in public, you're naked; etc.
If you realize you're dreaming and have strong focus, willpower, and imagination, you can attempt to manipulate your dreamself and your surroundings - changing them to suit yourself. This will not be easy nor perfectly accomplished right off the bat, try to be realistic about it. It'll take practice and perfect focus at first to manage it, plus a good imagination. Losing focus could cause your changes to revert. Someone with a stronger will - especially in their own dreamscape - can revert or alter changes you have already made, or parts of their own dream.
This all means that if your character can manage the focus, willpower, and imagination to keep it up, they can regain any powers Lachesis took away when they arrived in the City. They can also add extra powers such as flight, breathing underwater, walking on water, etc. Bear in mind, if they lose focus, these manipulations will revert. These changes exist only in the dreamscapes. They do not carry over back to the waking world.
You might run into an evil nightmare version of yourself in your own dream, or in someone else's, if they have nightmares of an evil you.
Death in the nightmare is NOT permanent. Dying or being mutilated in the nightmare will not permanently harm your body in the real world. The worst that could happen to your real self is mental trauma and seizures.

Kiryu was shocked too, of course, but it was more shock and awe in his case than shock and fear. He'd known that Alastair had had some sort of power before--maybe this was it. The mark on his arm certainly seemed to think it was, as it started glowing in response.
"Alastair, you..."
no subject
He didn't have his duel disk on him, but he had his cards in a back pocket. He flicked one out and held it out, a spell card written in a different language. The room shimmered with green light, and the mystical Seal appeared beneath their feet. Kiryu's mark would save him from this, but Cavil? He stood no chance against magic when he had no dueling skill to save him.
no subject
Cavil took another step back, certainly not expecting the floor to just start glowing or for Alastair to have such a backbone. He was still able to sneer at him, "You think I have a soul? So sorry to disappoint..."
no subject
He shifted his gaze to Kiryu for a moment. "You might want to cover your head. This could get messy. Everything inside the Seal except you and me isn't going to be here for very long."
It was only slightly different from how he had used it before, but simply willing it, wanting, had turned off the plane's autopilot and sent them plummeting toward a mountain. Alastair felt fully confident that he could rip that robot's head off if he bent the Oricalchos toward him.

Alastair tilted his head slightly. "Come on out, Kyosuke. You get the rights to finish him. I think you're overdue."
no subject
He carefully got to his feet, his old appearance melting away into that of the Dark Signer he really was.
Cavil shifted and Kiryu started feeling weak again--then he reached out and clenched a fist and the violin tuner went up in flames. The flames steadily spread until he was engulfed, a pillar of extremely hot fire, edging on blue-white in color. Cavil let out an angry yell and stumbled forward into the Seal again. Kiryu just laughed, more than content to watch him burn to the ground.
no subject
"That's more like it," he cackled. "Burn, you fucking bastard! Maybe now you'll never mess with me and Kyosuke ever again!"
no subject
But it couldn't last forever. Eventually, Cavil's movements slowed and came to a stop and the flames started dying down. Kiryu gestured a bit to pull them up again. He wouldn't be satisfied until the damn man was reduced to ash.
"Mmm, I think he's about done. Too bad..."
no subject
"I'm glad you're safe now. I didn't even know how to find you, I just kept looking until I did."
no subject
And that might have been why he quickly pulled Alastair into a tight hug too, but probably not. "Thank you. I don't know what I--I'm really glad you came."
no subject
He breathed a short sigh, looking over Kiryu's head to the surroundings just in case something else was going to start. "I don't know what the hell's going on, but I'm not going to leave you if I can help it. We can handle it better if it's two instead of one."
no subject
Kiryu leaned back a little so he could get a better look at Alastair's face and brushed his thumb over his forehead where the Oricalchos mark had been. "Was was this? I liked it..."
no subject
He lowered his head a little when Kiryu brushed the spot between his bangs. "That was...the Oricalchos. The power I used to have. I don't know where it came from...and I don't know if I can bring it back again."
no subject
Kiryu chuckled and kissed that spot on Alastair's forehead. "It doesn't have to. I feel special think you just brought it out to help me."
no subject
"Well," he said with a weak laugh, "I guess you're learning all kinds of secrets about me. Assuming we remember any of this when we wake up. C'mon..." He looked around once more, noting that the scene around them had already changed. The other figures were long gone. "Let's see if we can find anyone else. Or at least get out of the dark. Whatever happens, I'm not leaving you, okay?"
no subject
He glance regretfully back at the space where Saitou had been laying before, but if it was a dream, he hadn't really been there. At least, that was what he told himself so he could nod and start leading the way out into the darkness. "I would not mind getting out of the dark. And I'm not about to let go of you."
no subject
He wasn't much of a hand-holder, usually, but this circumstance called for it. Staying physically connected was the only way for them to survive and not lose each other. Alastair took Kiryu's hand and entwined their fingers. "I'm with you. Let's keep moving."
