and with tears in our eyes we drove off into the sunset looking for another place to put the garbage
WHO: Bakura, Alastair, Kiryu, Hiruma, Trowa, Quatre and Matsuka
WHERE: The MANCAVE
WHEN: Thanksgiving at 6
WARNINGS: Hiruma. Drunkenness. Shenanigans.
SUMMARY: Thanksgiving dinner at Hell Towers!
FORMAT: Let's say.. QUICK for a change
[[It's a heck of a feast, as one would expect with Bakura doing the cooking. And as requested, not exactly traditional either. There's a grilled monkfish, a rare cooked steak, dish of roasted squash and root vegetables, kabocha amani, sushi hand rolls, yaki udon with kabocha purin for desert. There's also a few bottles of sweet wine for those who drink and a nice fancy grape juice in similar bottles for those who don't.
Also on the table, thanks to Trowa, are mansaf and Venison + bacon goulash
It's a hell of a spread.]]

Yeah.
Something wrong with it...?

Venison, bacon, potatoes, onion, juniper berries...
Vegetables. Spices. Little things.

Oh.
Why not? I get it pretty regularly.

...I lived in L.A. for a long time, they don't exactly serve it anywhere. You just can't get good Slavic food in the States, unless you know where to look - I bet I could get some here in pseudo-New York, maybe.
no subject
You can. I've seen some places.
I could make a list.

[taking a taste] ...mmm. Wow, not bad. Where'd you learn to make it?
no subject
...I... don't know.
no subject
Oh. Well, it's good. Reminds me of home, a bit.

You said you grew up in L.A.

[slowly taking some sushi before it's all gobbled up]
