[the mugger in jaime's arms just keeps screaming and screaming and screaming...

while the Scarab plays the theme song from Hawaii 5-0 in his head all the way. it's a weird mix. but somehow, jaime's not going crazy over it. the song is drowning out the potty-mouth he's hauling to jail.

whether the machine or the boy's mean streak is to blame, they skirt a bit too close to the roofs of parked cars they zip by as he swoops low, coming up to the police station. he'd already called the front desk to let them know he was coming, that the guy he'd caught wasn't cuffed (because hey, there's no pockets to carry cuffs in that super suit)!...]

[ True facts, Yusuke hates working the front desk. Really, really hates it. But there he is, watching Jaime struggle as he drags the criminal of the hour through the front door, with his feet up on the desk and a green pen stuck behind his ear. Man, deskwork sucks. ]

I know you guys like for us to leave 'em where they are for you, but he was...[grimace, waiting for shouting to taper off.] He's really friggin' loud and there were kids around, so-!

[ And Yusuke comes out from behind the desk and full on smacks the guy upside the head. Because this jerk is disturbing the peace and you know, giving Abby's man a hard time and that is not on.

Uh, well he was running off with some dude's wallet and briefcase - in the middle of the friggin' day - and stuff. And then he went all crazysauce on me and cranked the shout-factor way past eleven, and...

Well, I guess I can throw him in the holding cell. I'm pretty sure it's just a fine, but I'll have to check.

Sure. Okay. [carrying things is mindless - he can do that! his fingers elongate and coil around the guy's arms and hoist him up, dangling him a couple inches off the ground as he walks. NO BIG THANG.]

Huh? [he looks over his shoulder, already on his merry way with Screaming Guy. fingers? he glances at his hands.] ...Oh! No, nah, man, it's cool! It's just something the suit can do. Lending a hand...to my hands. And stuff. [aheheh.........i'm a dork :(]

Jaime looks at him a minute, then at the door, then back at him. door secretly sobs in neglect until he can turn and push it open with his back.]

Well...well, yeah. That's why I can do the whole superhero thing around here. It's like walking in a Swiss army knife suit or something. [a light laugh, hauling screaming guy in.]

Hah, what? [surely he was just kidding. because jaime still had to deposit an unhappy guy in a cell.] Dude, come on...Just open up one of these cells for me already. He's light and all, but he smells.

[ WELL FINE JAIME IF YOU'RE GOING TO BE A PARTY POOPER. Yusuke heaves this huge, put-upon sigh and goes to open a cell. ]

[jaime gives him a sheepish grin, depositing screaming guy into the cell and backing away so the door can be closed.]
