WHO: Bennett and Boyd
WHERE: Bennett's super secret lab at Rossum HQ!
WHEN: Sunday afternoon
WARNINGS: I...don't think there will be any.
SUMMARY: Boyd needs a back-up of himself made and Bennett is just girl to do the job!
FORMAT: Quick-para
After getting the call from Boyd that he had time for that brain scan, Bennett hurried around her lab to get things ready as quickly as possible. It was kind of rather sad that she didn't have anything better to be doing on her Sunday than to be messing around with work things but that was life. It really didn't take her much time to get the needed things out, especially with Bingley's help.
When he came down, Boyd would find Bennett sitting at her computer, putting some final tweaks on that important imprint for Sierra. The pig was sitting contentedly in her lap, actually behaving himself.

Responses might be slow due to dealing with plot post.
Totally fine!
"I'm ready when you are, Mr. Langton."
Assuming there is a chair here.
Oh, of course! And it's probably way cooler than Topher's.

"Just be sure to take a day off occasionally, though I'm glad to hear Topher was impressed with your new wedges. I was actually going to ask when they would be ready for full scale production? I'd like to replace all our current ones as soon as possible.

"There's still a few bugs with the data compression but I expect I'll have them all ironed out within the week. It's...rather tricky to fit six terabytes worth of data into something so small. With most of the tests I've run they've worked perfectly but with a few Actives, some of the memories just didn't imprint," She explained as she kept working.

If this new storage medium really did work out it would allow him to carry almost all of their imprints in a single briefcase. There was also the possibility of releasing it publicly to get a foothold in the electronics market.

"I'm sure you're aware of the pain," She added, forcing a smile.

When it was done, Bennett offered Boyd a glass of water.
"Shall I bore you with the standard post-back-up procedure lecture or shall I consider it said and move on?" She asked, a tiny bit of her sense of humor poking through there.

"Mhmm," She nodded, "Looks fine. I'll give you this one," She pulled out the smaller wedge and handed it to him to do with what he wanted, "And I suppose I'll just keep this one? Transfer it and keep it down here? Certainly wouldn't hurt to have an extra back-up hidden somewhere."

"Just give me some time and watch. I'll make it impossible for him to hack," no one could ever say she wasn't determined.

"You should go home and rest. If anything out of the ordinary happens, call me."
