The stage is set, someone's going to do something someone else will regret
WHO: Keith Anyan (
motherloaded), Beatrice (
unastregadoro), any others who've signed up to help foil Keith's attempt to blow up the 'Porter!
WHERE: The 'Porter labs in Stark Tower and surrounding parts of the City.
WHEN: Earlier today.
WARNINGS: Definitely violence.
SUMMARY: Keith finally decides that murder alone won't solve any problems, but explosives might.
FORMAT: Prose to start with, then we roll with it!
For almost a year, Keith Anyan has tried to come to terms with what he is doing here, alone (even with Matsuka at his side) in a new world, given no orders from above, surrounded by people much like those he was trying to eliminate back in his reality. He has begged the 'Porter to give him orders in vain. All this time, he's waited. Sure, on some level, that the Mother System must reach this far. That Grandmother will send help. He couldn't shake the feeling that maybe "Lachesis" was just another one of her arms.
Then Riful caught him and did her worst, and no rescue came from above. He can't wait any longer. He can't let the poison of this world continue to spread. Keith is just surprised it took him this long to figure out what to do. Killing imPorts? What was he thinking? That's not going to accomplish anything. His real target is the 'Porter itself.
He discreetly arranges for some confiscated drugs and weaponry to go missing from the police evidence lockers, knowing this will make the trail to him obvious, knowing that it must be already. He sells it off as quickly as possible, taking the chance to acquaint himself with those who deal in such things, and through them he acquires a useful amount of C4 and a detonator. The plan is simple enough: take the explosive to the labs in Stark Tower, pack it thoroughly around the 'Porter, and detonate it.
Maybe he'll even leave the area first. Possibly.
Keith makes his first appearance in public since he last saw Matsuka in mid-afternoon on Friday. He turns out of an alley near Stark Tower and walks calmly toward the building itself, a tote bag full of about ten pounds of plastic explosive slung over his shoulder. It has a peace sign on it (that was the cheapest and sturdiest one he could find).
The clouds fogging his mind seem to have cleared. He's grateful for that.

"It appears I have found the stray little dog!"
With her characteristic harpy-like maniacal laughter, Beatrice now stands in Keith's warpath. She had made a promise to Matsuka---and it's a promise she intends to honor. For Keith was the one Matsuka loved and wished to save.
Even if "saving" Keith would entail beating him to within an inch of his life. The mere sight of the man is making her blood boil, but her smirk has not left her face. But her eyes are cold and menacing.
"Let's not make this difficult, my dear fool." She chuckles, snapping her fingers to call forth a whip made of light to bat the bag away from him. "As much as I enjoy games, I'm afraid this game you are trying to play is just too dangerous. Little boys shouldn't be playing with matches."

"Please! Stop this before anyone else gets hurt!"
The knives are a bluff though- she's putting together illusions of chains and shackles and ropes in her mind, ready to try to immobilize him before he can attack.

"You." He encompasses both Beatrice and Lyra in the single word. Their names don't matter anymore, if they ever did. "How unfortunate. I didn't intend to cause any more casualties."
His glance flicks from Lyra to Beatrice, then pauses. "I have no time for shows of power and madness."
no subject
"Power and madness, you say? Is not the despot calling the witch hypocrite? So what are you doing, then? What have you been doing, for the past few days? Were the murders and assaults not displays of power? Is this ridiculous ploy of yours not madness?"
And that's when she tilts her head back and laughs.
"Ahahahahaaaaa...! But it matters not, Keith Anyan. Your foolishness ends here. I, Beatrice, shall subjugate you like the pathetic prisoner that you are, and return you to your true place---"
With Jonah. But before she suddenly teleports, Beatrice yells:
"Now, Lyra!"
no subject
"Hold still! We're not going to to hurt you!" Lyra shouts. Well, they're not going to hurt him fatally, anyway. That counts, right?
