WHO: Slipstream and Shockwave
WHERE: 'Wave apartment
WHEN: evening, 2/13
WARNINGS: Possibly rated Rrrr depending on how good Shocky is at seduction. LOL.
SUMMARY: Shockwave is in lust with Slipstream and invites her over. Watch this log full of complete and utter AWKWARD because he has no idea what he's doing.

Slipstream wasn't exactly in the best of moods when she landed on the balcony of Shockwave's apartment. He'd dragged her away from the nice hot bath and bottle of wine that awaited her back at the lonely Deceptibase. Mmmm, bath. After dealing with a certain human all day, she needed some major relaxation, and a chat with her leader of sorts didn't seem like it would help.

Still, she was following his direction for the time being, so she figured she ought to humor him just this once.

She knocked sharply on the balcony door. He'd better be quick or she'd just leave.

Shockwave couldn't exactly understand why, but he felt as though he needed to have Slipstream over, for one reason or another. Certainly he'd be able to figure it out once she was over. He likely just needed to speak to her on Decepticon matters, what else could it be.

At the knock the scientist practically jolted over to the balcony door, sliding it open quickly.

For perfectly logical reasons.

"No reason to seem so upset over having to come over. A bath is hardly anything so important."

How fast the door opened surprised her, honestly, but Slipstream wasn't about to show it beyond a raised eyebrow at him.

"It's relaxing, and I had a long, stressful day. It's important enough," she replied curtly, stepping inside and pulling off her coat.

"What did you need me for?"

"That is a shame."

Stress for the femme, oddly enough, seemed unfortunate. He normally would not think that. In fact he would not even care. A rather strange sensation to be feeling, but he'd concern himself with the reasons later.

"And we do not talk enough." he held out a hand, offering to take her coat.

Slipstream paused for a moment, eyeing him suspiciously, then passed over her coat.

This was simply too strange. He was being nice and expressing interest in wanting to talk to her more.

...Was he drunk?

"...I suppose we don't..."

The scientist took her coat, calmly walking walking off and hanging it up. A neat and tidy home was a requirement, and he was sure that if he left it with Slipstream she would have just tossed it down on the couch or something.

Not at all acceptable.

If only he had been drunk however, it would have made things so much easier. Things would have made sense in some way. He would be talking with no end, had he been, but the odd feelings within would have some reasoning and definition.

"Considering we are the only Decepticons left, it is hardly a good thing." He slid his way up close to her, holding no regard for personal space.

"Something of which should be rectified if we wish to complete our goals. So we talk more, which is hardly a bad thing."

She watched him go thoughtfully, then arched an eyebrow at the invasion of her personal space. And pointedly backed up a step to get him out of it.

"Oh, I suppose. What did you want to talk about, Shockwave? Anything in particular?"

Unfortunate, that step back. Did she not like being near him? If that was the case, even more unfortunate. They were team-mates, during certain situations they would have to be close. Things like fights would occasionally call for it. Not that he was planning on any fights for the Decepticons any time soon. They had to keep on the good side of the City. Conquest would be difficult if everyone had it out for them.

It would be an illogical step.

"You are rather attractive, you know." he'd never been very good at this whole thing. Of course he wasn't sure of what he was doing.

Yes, Slipstream did have something... different about her. Not as attractive as Soundwave, no one was more than he was. But different. Yes. And it was... odd.

It wasn't that she didn't like being near him, though that was strange enough as it was. It was merely that Shockwave was acting so strangely, and she wasn't sure how to deal with it.

And his statement made it even worse. Slipstream stared at him in surprise for a few long moments before smirking.

"Of course I am. So nice of you to notice."

"I am quite shocked I never noticed before." He should have noticed, no matter how odd it felt. How sudden it was that before he would barely have noticed the femme, but now he found her quite fascinating to look at.

Something was wrong with that... But he couldn't quite place what. Nor did he truly wish to. Not now. The feeling was rather overwhelming.

"Why did you never mention it before?"

She gave him a look. You know, the one that says 'Wow, I can't believe you asked such a stupid question.'

"I'm not my brother Thundercracker, Starscream's ego personified. Besides, that's something others are supposed to notice, don't you think? I shouldn't have to say it out loud."

It certainly was not a stupid question to him. Not for one that barely noticed such things as what was attractive and what wasn't. He had found Soundwave attractive, but that certainly hadn't happened right away. Things of this nature, took Shockwave a very long time to recognize, if at all. It wasn't as if it were science after all.

"I suppose so." he answered, giving her another look over. Yes. For whatever reason, he was just noticing that she was fascinating to look at.

"I do have such trouble with paying attention to things that are not on my experimenting table, however."

~~That was how Soundwave had gotten him. Make outs on his table in the lab.~~

Slipstream arched an eyebrow, both in surprise and amusement at his admission. Shockwave was...kinky? Who knew?

"...On the experimenting table, hm? I hope you clean up afterward~"

For whatever reason, he seemed more interested in her than ever before. While it was vaguely creepy, it was flattering at the same time. And he wasn't bad to look at. Maybe it'd be worth her while.

Not at all kinky. Or maybe he was, he wouldn't know. But he certainly didn't understand the question on if he cleaned up afterward. He had been referring to paying attention to whatever he was dissecting on his table, so of course he cleaned up.

"It would be illogical to leave it dirty." he blinked, with a tilt of his head.

No reason to question why she was asking such a pointless question, there were other things to speak about here.

"So aside from your bath, I am not keeping you from anything else, am I?"

Of course he wouldn't pick up on the insinuation. She really wasn't surprised, given his general...him-ness.

"No, nothing else. Why do you ask? Unless... you've got a good-sized bathtub?"

"Am I not permitted to ask?" if he wasn't it would be something to note. And ignore. He was the leader of the Decepticons, as small as their forces were, and should she request he not do something, then it was entirely his choice whether he would listen to the request or not.

Shockwave inched his way a bit closer, all that personal space, who needed it. Hopefully she wouldn't step away again.

"It is a decent enough size. Why?"

"Because I still want a bath, whether I'm doing it at the base or here."

Slipstream didn't step away, rather taking it a a challenge to be met. She always met her challenges, even if they were taking the form of her rather strange and overly-logical superior officer. Hm.

Shockwave arched a brow, "And cut our conversation so short?" He thought not. Not while there was the strange sensation he was experiencing.

"I am certain you can control that selfishness of yours for a while."

"We don't have to stop talking," she said with a similarly arched eyebrow.

"If the tub's large enough, you could...join me?" Now, she would see if her suspicion was correct. Either he was coming onto her, or he'd suddenly developed an incredibly creepy fascination.

Both would be a rather illogical explanation, although they could also both be called correct in some way. He was flirting, or attempting to. And it was difficult to say that many of the things Shockwave did wasn't creepy in some way.

Either way, the offer is... intriguing. Something he's certainly not opposed to, although somewhere inside he feels that he should be. He should be incredibly opposed. So opposed and not even thinking about any of this.

"It was capable of holding both Soundwave and myself, I doubt it would be too small." he practically grinned.

Shouldn't be thinking this. Illogical. And wrong.

"I am certainly not opposed to such an offer."

Shockwave...grinning? The world must be ending. She stared at him for a few long moments, calculating.

One one hand, bath. On the other hand, bath with Shockwave. Huh.

The relaxation might be worth it. But he might be weird afterward if they did anything. Weirder than before, or than he was currently being.

"..Sure."
