In the jungle
WHO: Cat(man) and Cat(woman)
WHERE: Selina's jungle warehouse
WHEN: Thursday
SUMMARY: Selina's chilling with her leopard and Blake stumbles across them
WARNINGS: Probably not
FORMAT: Whatev!
Let it not be said that Selina Kyle couldn't learn. She'd seen the aftermath of a pissed-off anthropomorphic representation of Desire. So when someone calling herself Aphrodite claimed responsibility for people making out with mailboxes, Selina wisely refrained from making a smartass comment, as was her initial impulse. After all, things were working with Bruce. Almost freakishly well. To the point where she was almost waiting for the other shoe to drop. She didn't want that other shoe to be an irate love goddess.
Hell, she hoped Bruce hadn't cooked dinner because of Aphrodite's influence.
So Selina kept quiet (for her) and decided to spend some quality time with Ramus, away from the mailbox molesters. The jungle warehouse was fairly warm with the heating system she'd installed in the fall (Ivy would kill her if any of the trees died) and she'd replaced the chair Creed had trashed with a comfy wooden lounger that would have looked more appropriate in a country club garden than a rainforest.
In any case, it wasn't long before Selina dozed off, Ramus sprawled out watchfully nearby.

But her features smooth out quickly. "It's... fine. As long as you're not here after me or Ramus." She strokes the leopard's head. That seems to calm him, although he does keep his gaze focused on Thomas. "How did you find us?"
no subject
"Did you grow all of this?" he gestures around the warehouse, obviously impressed. "Must have taken a hell lot of time."

She did smile a bit at his question. "Poison Ivy did it for me. Took her a few hours. Instant jungle cat habitat."
And then she'd moved it all for Selina after the attempt on her life. But she wasn't in the mood to talk about that.

Thomas' never been that into Gotham politics, so he's a little bit inquisitive. "Do you two still get along?"

Ramus had apparently decided their guest wasn't a threat. He padded over to take a sniff.

"Does he have a name?" he asks, staying otherwise as still as possible until he's absolutely sure that he's on his good side.

"Ramus. Not really sure who gave it to him." Her smile fades a bit. "He was a rescue. Raised in a lab."

Pulling his arm carefully away from Ramus, he lifts up, shuffling a little in place. There is something just a little bit, well, awkward about breaking into a place of someone you know. "So. How's life been treating you?"
ugh, sorry, still not getting notifs
She shrugs at the question. "Not bad, really. And you?" A little B&E doesn't bother her that much, especially when it doesn't seem intentional.
