Oh For The Love Of Backdating

WHO: Whiskey and Topher
WHERE:Topher's lab
WHEN: backdated to around the 7th or 8th or 9th.
SUMMARY: Whiskey's come to get her brain scanned
WARNINGS: No?
FORMAT: Whatever!

She'd spent most of the time in her own lab, looking at paperwork from the past five days, reading news reports, catching up on what she'd missed. Anything to keep her mind focused. Focused on staying in one mind, focused off of the fact that her abilities were not working. Not that she'd told Boyd that, or even Cameron.  Without her abilities functioning, it was harder to stay...a person.  

Or something like that, anyway.

Eventually, however, she made her way to Topher's lab.  For a scan, and to see for herself that he was all right.

She looks...confused. "But my abilities aren't working. And I can't...it's difficult to keep cohesive."

His face is full of concern as he turns to look at her again forgetting the interesting scans for a moment.

"What do you mean? Whiskey, can I talk to Claire for a bit?"

It takes her longer to call up the personality. A lot longer, honestly. "Topher."

"Claire, Claire I need you to focus. Something is different in your scans. The Import activity is there, but the readings are different. I have no idea what this means, but Whiskey said it's hard for her to stay together." He didn't know what he was asking of Claire. Maybe he was hoping that by informing her she could help hold on because damn if he was going to lose any part of Whiskey!

"Yeah, okay. I can only recommend temporarily pulling some of them and just leaving you, but that could make things worse." He didn't like the idea of Claire being in pieces.

He gave a heavy sigh and moved back to the scans. "Give me a day or two to run a deep analysis. I'll send the results to you. You're still reading as an Import, so I'm not convinced your abilities are gone for good."

She nods, pausing. "Don't tell Boyd that they're gone." And another pause. "He'll worry too much."
