WHO: Eleanor Lamb and Sirius Black
WHERE: Eleanor's apartment at the MAC
WHEN: Wednesday Afternoon?
WARNINGS: None, I assume.
SUMMARY: Eleanor has been avoiding the Hogwarts kids, Sirius comes to bother her about it.
FORMAT: Para? Whatever works.
Eleanor frowned at the pile of papers in front of her, counting up the little red X's she had marked off and then writing the score down. She'd taken some of the assignments from Doctor McCoy's class to grade, now that he was back and she was TAing for him again, but it was not nearly as interesting as she had hoped. The first few papers had been, seeing how people answered, trying to guess their methods that got it wrong, but now it was just a lot of the same problems over and over again.
Not that she had much else to do. She'd been staying home a lot lately...she wasn't even really sure why, she just...hadn't felt like going anywhere. She hadn't even gone swimming since she'd run into the Joker and his goons near the river. At least she'd made a friend, then. Not that she had tried to contact Cass since, but the option was there. She just...didn't bother to take it. She went to school, she hung out with Cassie sometimes, and...that was it.
She'd watched a lot of television though. That probably counted for something, right? At least grading papers meant she was doing something. Getting something, anything, done.
Only six more left...

There is a wizard about.

Her pen was a feather. That smelled of strawberries.
After a couple seconds she just sighed and shook her head, sitting up a bit straighter in her chair. She kept holding the feather though. "Sirius?"
Because it was almost painfully obvious, really.

There's a tapping at her window, and lo and behold on the other side of the glass a man on a hovering motorbike is grinning in the evening light.

"What do you want, Sirius?"

"To show you something. Climb on!"

"I need to get my coat," she said, and disappeared. A moment later she returned, with the jacket he had enchanted months ago, tugging it on. Apparently the window gave her no particular pause, since she was already climbing out of it.

As the daylight faded, the sight of the river grew.

She was quiet at first, her head tilted away, looking out at the city as they passed it. She had certainly missed this. Flying was something else, now that she wasn't terrified of it. Eventually her eyes turned back to him though, staring at...well, his spine. She leaned up a little to shout.
"Where are we going?"

As they neared the piers, Sirius activated the invisibility generator, and flicked his wand to muffle the sound of their approach as they circled over...an aircraft carrier.
With Godzilla and the Sub-Mariner's long absence, the retired aircraft-carrier-turned-museum Undaunted (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intrepid_Sea-Air-Space_Museum) had returned.

Eleanor had never seen an aircraft carrier before, and she fell silent again as it came into view, studying it. It was the largest thing she had ever seen that wasn't a building, frankly.
