WHERE: Allison's MAC apartment
WHEN: Saturday night!
WARNINGS: SPARKS
SUMMARY: Allison stole Alex's book to prove a point. She accidentally gave everyone ever beards. Now it's time for Alex to get his book back, and Spider-Girl is intervening to make sure nobody gets shocked to death.
FORMAT: WORDS
She hadn't exactly... meant to give everyone beards. She'd been so frustrated that the book had been illegible that she'd tried to fry it. Frying the book, however, hadn't resulted in any good results. Instead, she'd found the papers not destroyed, and her chin had been fuzzy.
Okay, fuzzy wasn't exactly the word. She'd had a goatee. A gigantic, nasty goatee that covered her face. She'd put on her Aftershock costume earlier to try and see if that had made it less obvious.
It hadn't, but at least this way nobody could find Allison Dillon, the creepy chick from school with facial hair.
She'd put on a robe over her costume by now, and was slumped in her couch, arms crossed. Petulant. She could shock the book again, but that didn't mean the problem would go away. She propped her feet up on the coffee table, and and muttered a curse under her breath.
She really didn't want to go to school like this.

"Look! He said I couldn't do it, so I proved to him that I could! It's not my fault he has some super freaky deaky book that doesn't just fry when I shock it!"
no subject
This is a detail he'd missed.
no subject
"Maybe next time someone gives you a double dog dare you should stop short of property damage, huh? Now let's get that thing back to someone who can actually use it to fix this mess."
no subject
"If he wants it, he has to steal it back from me, buggy! You're not taking it!"
And, predictably, she uses her free hand to start letting off the sparks.
no subject
"Oh," he mumbled to himself as the door came open.

May grunted as she pulled back a little, not wanting to take the fight into enclosed spaces, and aimed one wrist at Allison to try and land a gob of webbing on her.
"Manners, manners, Electra."
no subject
Nope, that didn't work so well either.
"This is between me and him! You don't need to get involved!"
no subject
There it was, his big black book with the six-toed foot on the front, sitting right on top of the coffee table. He kept low to the ground as he slipped up next to it.
He'd done it, the Abstract was in his hands, the plan had been a success. By all rights he should just bolt, but he couldn't just leave Spider-Girl. He ducked behind the couch and watched for his opening.

C'mon boy, head out. May gave a small frown under her mask, but just gave a large shrug to Aftershock, still sticking outside her window.
no subject
"If you're gonna interfere, you need to get inside buggy! I can shoot sparks all day!"
no subject

"But the fresh air'll do wonders for your complexion. You should come try it, you're looking a little scruffy around the edges."
no subject
"You don't look much better, buggy! Maybe it's the costume. It still clashes!"
no subject
If he got her attention, it might at least be easier for Spider-Girl to finish this. He'd just have to wait another moment to see how things went.
no subject
"And yellow goes so well with the manscaping there, Electra."
no subject
Come on, Spider-Girl, just a little bit closer to the window and she'll have you.
no subject
Shooting Spider-Girl a glance through the window, he nonchalantly asked "We done here?"
no subject
May could only gap for a few seconds after that move, still sticking to the outside of the building. He- she-
"You hit her with a book?!"
sorry it took so long to tag this back, i wanted to be sure allison was out of the rotation first!
no subject
Not that the threat of getting bug-zapped was out of the way, May crawled into the window to crouch down by Allison. Oh yeah, this would help with the healing processes. Maybe it was time to reconsider the classic team-up gig.
no subject
He glanced down at Allison with at least a modicum of sympathy. "She'll come out of this fine, worst she'll get from it is a headache. We should bolt before she wakes."
no subject
May shook her head and hesitated a moment before she reached down and picked Allison up. Headache she couldn't help, but she could at least put the girl on the couch.
no subject
While she busied herself with Allison, he reached into his pocket and palmed a piece of paper. He'd have to drop it somewhere Allison would see it while Spider-Girl wasn't looking.
no subject
May set Allison down as gently as she could on the couch, pausing to rub that back of her neck for a moment. This was not going to end well for her when the other girl work up, she could tell.
no subject
I could have sworn I replied to this. Sorry for the delay :/
May straightened up, turning to look at him with one hand on her hip.
"It's not that I don't appreciate the sentiment, but she's got enough problems without the head trauma. And this talk would be a lot better done walking, I think."
that's okay! :D
he put his hand on the couch, still waiting for the opportunity to stealthily drop the note it held. "I recall saying at the start that we should make tracks, but you wanted to talk about my horrendous crime. So how about we find somewhere else that you can tell me exactly why it's so big a deal that I let Electra here have it."
