Slipstream is not a babysitter.
WHO: Slipstream, Mokuba, and mini-Seto.
WHERE: KaibaCorp.
WHEN: Monday morning, bright and early.
WARNINGS: Slipstream + children?
SUMMARY: It's a normal day at the office...except that Seto is now a small child. WHAT DO
FORMAT: something...
Aside from Shockwave being a small human child, Slipstream had no reason to believe that this day at the office would be unlike any other. She arrived precisely fifteen minutes early as usual - no need to worry about traffic when you can fly - and booted up her computer to check her boss's calendar and take note of any messages. You know, normal secretary things.
Also she might have placed a new bug or two in his office.
Still, the usual cup of coffee and glass of chocolate milk were sitting ready on the desk for when the two Kaibas arrived. As usual.

"Let's see it," he said, fully expecting something on par with pulling a yen from behind Mokuba's ear.

She pointed a hand at the papers, a purple glow forming around it for a second before PEW. Laser. It was also quite loud, incidentally.
A second shot finished the job.

"I'm never using a shredder again!"

So, she removed her jacket and bracelets, leaving her arms bare all the way down. And then lasered the smoking ruins of the papers again.
Take that, skeptic-boy.
no subject
"And we'll go flying later, right?"
no subject
"You can fly too?" Seto asked. "Why do they have you doing paper work?" If she was an android they would have had to have made her for some purpose.
no subject
She shrugged, not really sure what prompted him to ask that question. Did he think she was some sort of AI-type? Because that was totally not the case.
"And yes, I do fly."

"Okay, okay," he said to assure Mokuba that he wasn't doubting him. "She's got lasers and can fly."
no subject
Slipstream paused for a moment, eyeing the pair of them.
"Would you like to fly with me?"

But Mokuba looked really excited.
Slipstream may be pulling his leg.
But if she wasn't they would be flying.
Excited little brother and the chance to fly won out. If it wasn't another magic trick maybe she was pilot. Being in a personal jet would be so cool!
"Alright," he agreed. "As long as it's safe."
He didn't care if it was safe for him (he was 8 and therefore indestructible) but he had to be responsible for Mokuba.
no subject
"Safe enough. One at a time, or will I have to figure out a way to take the both of you at once?"
On the other hand, it would be a nice getaway from the office that she was so tired of. Which would be wonderful.
no subject
Then he crossed the room in a single bound and hugged Slipstream too.
This completely didn't answer her question, but did he really care about that? No! He was going flying!
no subject
He held it mostly in check, but his reply came out more strained. "Together," he said. He crossed the room to Mokuba and grabbed his arm. "We do everything together."
no subject
Slipstream just stood very awkwardly as Mokuba hugged her, looking like she wasn't quite sure what to do. Actually, there may have been a pleading look in Seto's direction before he pulled his brother away.
"I think I can manage that," she said, calculating weights and air speed and things. "When would you like to go?"
no subject
"If we wait, we won't actually do it. It's how that kind of thing works."
no subject
"Sure," he shrugged. "Unless there's work to do." Even if he didn't know what work was supposed to be done here, he still felt a responsibility for it.
Yaaaaay \o/
Besides, it wasn't like there were many non-child workers in the building today. All of the meeting were cancelled, the board decided that they didn't want to even try to come in, so there really wasn't much for the fun-sized CEO to work on.
"You'll want jackets. Even though it's warm out, it gets chilly in the sky."
no subject
"I don't have a jacket," he said matter-of-factly. "Niisama said that by the time I needed one I'd need a bigger size, so he hasn't gotten me one yet."
no subject
"Or stay at lower altitudes."
no subject
She lead the way to the helipad. Convenient, that.
no subject
Now that he was the bigger one, it was his job, after all.
no subject
"No, you should use both hands to hold on. I can spare one for you though."
no subject
"I'll make sure neither of you fall. No need to worry."
She crouched, presenting her back to them, even though it galled her to show her back to anyone.
"One on my back, and the other in front. All right?"
