Who:
natureinage and

When: 5/11. Afternoon sometime.
Where: The sidewalk outside of a library and then where ever.
Summary: Remus gets away from his babysitters long enough to find a library. Because if you're from the Harry Potter universe, you are bound by magical law to go on at least one adventure that might get you killed.
Warnings: Sparkles?
Format: Whatever works. Elle, I hope this is okay.

Usually, people would be a little suspicious of an eleven-year-old wandering the streets, but with the current craziness happening around the city, not many of them are going to look twice at this one. In fact, he actually blends in pretty well these days.
By some luck and skill, he's managed to get away from all of the people currently trying to keep an eye on him. He could have asked for a ride, but that would take the fun out of it. Not to mention, he wanted a little more freedom than he was being given. And that woman on the network seemed very willing to do something if someone did hurt him.
So, through the careful use of a taxi and some American dollars he had found in his own wallet, he is now outside of the main building of the library, standing in the middle of the steps and studying the statue of the lion with idle interest.

So many...
The odds were against it being a permanent change, but Blue couldn't help but fear for them all. Not all were at an age of responsibility, and not all were around one who was...He knew the ones in his own household were well taken care of, but any of those millions who were altered...He would have been wrong to have done nothing. Even just wandering the streets, listening for trouble, was better than doing nothing at all.
That was how he came to be there on that street, carefully weaving past the younger people busy with their own comings and goings. The familiarity of Remus' mind was something more easy to tack down than almost anything - it was a rare presence as something that was so guarded, and Blue had come to find it unforgettable because of it. But as he sensed it now, it was...different.
His eyes set to scanning the area for sight of his friend, eyebrows beginning to furrow with a mounting concern. A faint call was sent:
...Remus-?

But instead of moving to run, he freezes up, looking a bit like a trapped animal for all intent and purpose, standing perfectly still on the steps, waiting quietly for the person to show themselves, hoping they wouldn't attack.

But then...how was this any different than when the situation had been reversed? When he had been the one to look at him without recognition? It hadn't stopped Remus from being support. If anything, Blue owed him an offer of the same, whether it was taken or not. He willed himself to move forward and do as such, following the feeling of heightened awareness to the boy's location.
"I'm sorry," he spoke aloud, barely a stone's throw away at that point. "I didn't mean to frighten you."

"You didn't frighten me," he lied. "How do you know my name?"

"Because you'll tell it to me," he said. "When you're older. You'll be a very important friend to me.
"I came here and found so many people looking at me as if they knew me, but I didn't..." He smiled wanly, apologetically. "The same is for you, isn't it?"
