WHO: Cameron Hodge and Catwoman
WHERE: The park
WHEN: Feb 17, after the rally
WARNINGS: Sneakiness and stuff?
SUMMARY: Catwoman goes to talk to Hodge after the rally. In disguise.
FORMAT: parawhatever?
The rally had been quite successful, and Hodge hadn't expected anything less. He knew how to approach the public, knew what words would appeal to them the most. What would frighten, what would throw in hidden messages; he knew what he was doing.
He had remained behind afterwards to answer any questions that people threw at him, or even talk one on one to whoever came close to him. He was really making an impact on this city, and the mutants would be dealt with soon. Hodge truly believed it.
Hodge continued to stand in his spot, awaiting anyone else who wanted to speak with him about the cause. Staying for twenty minutes more was necessary.

She'd never expected to use it for anything like this.
She watched the crowd dissipate, Hodge's words still ringing through their heads. Bastard knew how to work a crowd, that was for damn sure. He appeared to be waiting around. The preacher waiting tend to his flock.
Why the hell not?
Smoothing her rather conservative dress, 'Lily' made her approach, the slightest hesitance to her steps. "Mr. Hodge?" She hoped that any other heroes spying on the rally wouldn't recognize her through the long blond wig and dark glasses.

He held his hand in efforts of a friendly hello. "Do you have questions, miss?"

She met his eyes, letting a hint of her real self creep into her gaze. As far as he knew, she was was supposed to be some kind of hero. "That was a very moving speech. I think you really got through to a lot of people." Unfortunately.

"Yes, and it is a good thing too." He told her. "People are becoming more aware, as they should be. Mutants are dangerous."

The harshness in the words surprised even her. But the best lies were full of truth, after all.
Selina cleared her throat, as if trying to regain composure. "But you said you know how to deal with them."
no subject
"Oh, yes." He told her. "Unfortunately, they never agree with my solutions."

Hodge smiled at her. "You have nothing to worry about."

She let a bit of uncertainty seep into her voice. "Watching, mostly," she replied. "You're the expert here, right?"

"As for how I'll be making that possible, Ms. Sebastian, I believe you'll have to keep attending my rallies to find out." He smiled at her. "Are we done here? I do have other people to talk to."

"Take away their advantage, huh? Sounds like a plan I could get behind." Her look was calculating. "Until the next rally, then. It was interesting talking to you, Mr. Hodge."
A small nod and she turned and walked away, leaving him to his business. For now.
