SUMMARY: The Crabhammers declare war on the Porter and, to a lesser extent, the Imports. The battle lasts three days, is horrible in just about every way you can think of, and this is how it goes down.

"I'm not done with him yet." He would find a way to get Osborn. No man was untouchable.

"Neither am I," she muttered. Not that this was really the best time to have this discussion.

For Frank it was the perfect time. The more he kept her talking, the more time he had to plan a get away. "Guess we'll have to see who gets to him first."

"Oh, I'm perfectly fine with sharing." And with keeping her eyes fixed on the violent stranger.

"I don't usually play well with others." It was his war and his war alone. The heroes had their place and killing Osborn wasn't it. His tone shifts from threatening to something rather tired. "It keeps the wrong people from getting hurt."

"likes a bunch of deluded nerds?" Such as the guys he just shot. She hdn't actually forgotten about those yet. Hard to do when they were practically lying at her feet.

Frank turned and looked down at the bodies while his hand slowly reached into his coat, searching for the flashbang he had there. "That's doesn't mean they're innocent. Setting fires, detonating bombs. They don't care if they kill someone and I'm not going to give them the chance."

"Other ways to do that besides killing them." Maybe she was a bit more lax about it than certain Bats, but she did see it as a last resort.

Frank snorted. He'd tried those ways once, or twice and it had always come back to bite him in the ass. "What makes them so worthy of mercy? Their endangering the whole city and putting all these people at risk. Kids, families that have nothing to do with this. Only one way to deal with an enemy like that."

"They're an idiot mob. Lot of them are kids. Deserving of pain, definitely. But the death penalty's a bit much."

She shifted her stance just a bit, tracking his movements.

"If they're old enough and stupid enough to try to kill someone then they are deserving of it." If he was going to get away he'd have to do it soon otherwise he'd be here half the night waiting for her to be distracted. Quickly Frank reached into his coat, grabbed the flashbang, popped the pin and then did something he was sure he'd end up regretting. He dropped it right at his feet and then threw himself backwards closing his eyes, grateful that he had his in ear hearing protection on. Even then this thing was going to give him a hell of a headache.
