WHO: Billy Kaplan and anyone else

WHEN: Backdated to yesterday before the start of the plot, throughout the day
WARNINGS: Billy is a geek lol? XD
SUMMARY: Billy is wandering around the city. Meant to be for all the people I plotted with on the CR meme about meeting Billy since I figured it'd be easiest to just make one post and have whoever wants to jump in do so :)
FORMAT: Anything you want, take your pick

Billy is in a store, spending the day shopping, although he'll probably end up buying only one thing. It could be a gaming store, a book store, a comic book store... It might even be your store. He is currently looking at something, be it collectable cards, a video game guide, a sci-fi or fantasy book, a comic, or maybe even a new game he hasn't seen before. Do you approach?

"I don't recall suddenly shifting into Eli or Kate," Teddy teases right back as he starts to lead the way to get some food.

"Well for this expedition for food, you've been upgraded."

Teddy laughs, leading the way. Soon enough, he brings Billy into the fast food place. In no time, they've got a big bag of food and two large chocolate shakes. Another short walk and then flight and Teddy's sitting down on a nice rooftop and patting the spot next to him for Billy to join him.

Billy flops down, taking a big long slurp of the shake, humming in content. "Aaah, chocolate shakes, how I have missed you."

Teddy laughs as he takes the food out of the bag. "What? You went a month without frosty chocolate goodness too?"

"Nah, more like a few weeks." Billy shrugs and nabs a fry, munching on it.

Teddy laughs, unwrapping a burger. "Well, now that I'm here I'll be sure to make sure you never go so long without a chocolate shake again."

Billy leans over and rests a head against Teddy's shoulder. "My hero."

Teddy puts an arm around Billy's shoulders. "Better believe I am," he murmurs with a fond smile.

"... Have I told you yet how glad I am that you're here?" he says softly after eating a few more fries. He knows he's told Teddy a gazillion times.

"Yes," Teddy replies with a smile. "About as many times as Spider-Man's cracked a joke in a fight."

He laughs lightly. "I haven't been that bad. ... Have I?"

Teddy laughs and kisses the top of Billy's head. "Depends how you define 'bad'."

He jostles him a bit. "If it bothers you, I can just never tell you how much I love and appreciate you again." Of course he is teasing.

"Hey," Teddy pouts. "I never said it bothered me. I rather like it."

"Good. Because I love you and appreciate you and am very very very glad you're here." He grins.

"Good. I'd wonder who you were and what you did with the real Billy if you didn't," Teddy smiles.

"I'd really hope you'd be able to tell if I was really me or someone else pretending to be me," Billy points out.

"Oh, you know I could," Teddy replies, ruffling Billy's hair and finishing off his burger.

Billy sits there quietly for a bit, content to just be in Teddy's presence as he finishes off his food. He's savoring the chocolate shake though.

Teddy quietly sips his shake as well, enjoying being with Billy.

"Everyone seems to enjoy it," Bakura nodded with a smile. Really, things like that were the only reasons he ever came in on weekends, baring emergencies, of course. "I've been thinking of having more open game times during the week with summer vacation coming up soon."

For a moment, the girl doesn't look as though she'll respond. Maybe she didn't hear him? But the moment passes, and when she looks up again it's with the realization that, why yes, he is in fact speaking to her.

"I suppose so, yeah," she answers; her voice is lower and more mature-sounding than her young appearance would imply, but sounds pleasant enough. "Are you?"

"Nothing I haven't already read before," he admits, holding the book up so she can see the cover.

The girl's eyes move from his face to the book, brows bending for thought. "Norse? That's the one with Ragnarok, isn't it?"

In her own world and at this age, Ruka would have been more familiar with it -- at least, with a certain selection of its Gods, and the legends thereof. That other Ruka would even journey the Bifrost, risking her life as the Rainbow Bridge dissolved behind her and her companions. But that was a journey this Ruka had not yet taken -- and, perhaps, never would.

"I haven't read as much about that one, yet," she continued, indicating her own sizable book. "I still have a long way to go, with the Greeks."
