WHO: Billy Kaplan and anyone else
WHERE: A store
WHEN: Backdated to yesterday before the start of the plot, throughout the day
WARNINGS: Billy is a geek lol? XD
SUMMARY: Billy is wandering around the city. Meant to be for all the people I plotted with on the CR meme about meeting Billy since I figured it'd be easiest to just make one post and have whoever wants to jump in do so :)
FORMAT: Anything you want, take your pick
Billy is in a store, spending the day shopping, although he'll probably end up buying only one thing. It could be a gaming store, a book store, a comic book store... It might even be your store. He is currently looking at something, be it collectable cards, a video game guide, a sci-fi or fantasy book, a comic, or maybe even a new game he hasn't seen before. Do you approach?

Waiting until Billy's occupied with the comic, he steps up as silently as he can and reaches out to tap him on the shoulder. The moment he turns around, Teddy's going to lean in and kiss him.

He'll give it one last shot, though. Which means that he's currently standing just where the graphic novels section starts in one of the larger bookstores, frowning faintly at a comic about zombies. He's pretty sure that's not how it works.

So for now, he pretends he doesn't notice the growing excitement and instead just cants his head thoughtfully to one side. "A bold leap you're making, my friend. I could be a tall dwarf who got into an unfortunate accident." He lets the false pensiveness drop and grins. "But as it happens, you're correct."

The store in question is a bookstore, independent from any major chains, and the person in question is a girl in her early teens. That alone might be unusual -- for reading is a hobby falling by the wayside for the younger generations, especially that of books still printed on paper -- but her appearance is striking as well. Not her clothing; that's almost conservative, with long sleeves (in late May) and a knee-length skirt.
No, it's the hair. It's a tealish, seafoam green, tied up into pigtails more closely resembling rabbit ears.
She's loitering in the mythology section, one heavy-looking tome held open on her arm, and the edges of what look like playing cards poke out of the book intermittently as place-markers. When Billy comes into this section, the girl glances up (amber eyes, almost too large for her face, just intensify the rabbit motif) before returning her attention to the book. She wouldn't want to interrupt his book search uninvited.

Idly, he wonders if the girl's hair is dyed - if it is, it's very well done. His brother has white hair and he knows others who have non-natural looking hair so it wouldn't surprise him if it was real.
"Finding anything interesting?" he finally asks, smiling a little as he glances at her again.

"I suppose so, yeah," she answers; her voice is lower and more mature-sounding than her young appearance would imply, but sounds pleasant enough. "Are you?"

In her own world and at this age, Ruka would have been more familiar with it -- at least, with a certain selection of its Gods, and the legends thereof. That other Ruka would even journey the Bifrost, risking her life as the Rainbow Bridge dissolved behind her and her companions. But that was a journey this Ruka had not yet taken -- and, perhaps, never would.
"I haven't read as much about that one, yet," she continued, indicating her own sizable book. "I still have a long way to go, with the Greeks."
