SUMMARY: Billy is wandering around the city. Meant to be for all the people I plotted with on the CR meme about meeting Billy since I figured it'd be easiest to just make one post and have whoever wants to jump in do so :)

Billy is in a store, spending the day shopping, although he'll probably end up buying only one thing. It could be a gaming store, a book store, a comic book store... It might even be your store. He is currently looking at something, be it collectable cards, a video game guide, a sci-fi or fantasy book, a comic, or maybe even a new game he hasn't seen before. Do you approach?

"It's pretty similar at the basics! Only there's no land system in Duel Monsters; it uses a sacrifice system for summoning larger monsters," Bakura explained.

"How does that work? Is there some place where I can read the rules?" Billy was willing to try out any card game since not everything that he had liked back home was available here.

"If you get a starter deck, it comes with the rules and everything. Though I think there's still some extras by the play tables, if you'd like to just read them over first."

"Play tables? Do you have card tournaments here?" Billy asked, looking interested.

"Every Saturday!" Bakura smiled. "Not big ones, though! Just a store level one. But they're officially sanctioned." He was pretty sure that was part of Kaiba's way of keeping an eye on all Duel Monsters related activity, even something as low level as just a weekend tournament.

"Do you allow spectators? I might stop by and take a look, maybe rope my boyfriend in. We both like this kind of stuff. Do you have any other event type things that you do...?"

"Spectators are always welcome," Bakura smiled. "Mostly it's just the Duel Monsters tournament, since none of the other card games are that popular, though Sunday's open game day and sometimes there's a TRPG group that show up as well as quite a few chess players. We had a building contest last month, but I haven't planned anything like that recently." Things had been far too crazy for that, sadly.

"Cool. I'll have to come check stuff out. It sounds like it could be fun," Billy says with a smile.

"Everyone seems to enjoy it," Bakura nodded with a smile. Really, things like that were the only reasons he ever came in on weekends, baring emergencies, of course. "I've been thinking of having more open game times during the week with summer vacation coming up soon."
