[ she was angry. she was uncontrollable. she knew this. he had killed Dave. she let that happen. she couldn't protect him. and now, she would kill him.

however, he had managed to get away and she was even more off her rocker than before, shooting through the grimdark sky, sending blasts of magic at every chance she spotted him, only for him to disappear. she needed to stop this. end him.

[ This was getting ridiculous, by which he meant this was getting really worrisome. No matter how loud he screamed, or how much he waved his arms he couldn't seem to get Rose's attention. He knew what she was doing, and he knew who she was looking for now, and he had to stop her.

Dave was hurt, lying in the hospital somewhere and he wanted to make sure he was okay, and that Jade was okay, and right now he really needed for Rose to calm down and be okay too.

Which is why he's charging towards her at full speed, ignoring the knotting, twisting feeling in his gut he's getting from being in such close proximity to her right now, and trying to yell louder. ]

ROSE!!

[ she spins around, turning to look at him with eyes glowing bright. the translator's in her ear and she doesn't say anything at first but there's a flash of desperation on her face, Thorns blazing with black magic ]

... John?

[ The most relieved smile ever. ]

Rose! Oh man, Rose. I have something important to tell you! You have to calm down. We gotta go.

[ He stops to wave his arm behind him. He's not really sure what hospital Jade took Dave to but... ]

The hospital! We have to go right now!

[ hissing and immediately turning to fly forward, scarves trailing after her ]

I can't. I have to find Gamzee.

No! Rose!

[ Trying to fly after her, making a grab for her sash. ]

Listen! You don't need to!!

[ jerking to a stop, glaring at him ]

No, listen to me. John, if we let him continue like this, he won't rest until he kills every one of us. I won't let it happen again. I'm going to end this now.

It's not going to end anything! He'll come back, that's how it works. Come on, Rose, we have to go to the hospital and make sure everything is okay!

We can't just let him run around, terrorizing everyone. I won't stop, John.

No, I know! But he won't for awhile. You hurt him pretty bad, and we can just let the police catch him.

Or I can deal with him myself.

No! Rose, that's a really bad idea!

I'm too angry to be rational right now, John. This is normal, probably spiked by the fact that I'm grimdark.

[ saying this way too steadily. seriously. and she's already turning to fly off ]

But I don't really care. I'm ending this.

[Flying after her!]

Okay so you know you're not being rational right now! That is all the more reason that you should calm down and think about this first!

Rose! He's in the hospital! We have to go check on him and make sure he's okay.

[ whirling around again ]

Dave!

[ pause. she looks... well, a tinge upset. ]

He died.

What? No! He's okay! Me and Jade got to him in time. She took him to the hospital!

[ staggering back in the air, eyes going wide. she's kind of nestled deep into her insanity so this is a lot to take in ]

He was decapitated. Beaten with his own head.

[ Looks kind of shocked about that. That is some horrific imagery. ]

What? But that's impossible! Me and Jade literally just saved him. He was talking to us.

I saw his corpse.

[ she knows it's an alternate timeline dave. but it's a lot to take in. ]

I don't know how that happened, but I promise you he's alive!

[ she hesitates and brings a hand to her head, eyes glowing brightly ]

He's safe then...?

[ Trying to fly up a little closer to her :C Rose... ]

He is now. Yes.

[ letting him ]

I -- I need to calm down.

[ Nods as he tries to reach out to her, maybe hold her hand :( ]

[ she just goes silent, letting him take her hand if that's what he wants. she's just... in a bad place atm. :( ]

[ He'll do so! But now he's just watching her. Worried. ]

We should probably get away from this place right now. I think Gamzee is gone, but I think your dark glowing will probably attract more people.

[ And you're kind of scary right now, and he's not sure people won't make assumptions that you're a bad guy and attack you. ]

[ she doesn't say anything. just nods once. ]

[ Not letting go of her hand he starts to drift up and away slowly. He isn't sure where he wants to go, but right now AWAY seems like a pretty good idea. ]

[ wherever they're going, she's certainly following. ]

[ Good. Then he can get her out of harms way to collectively collect their thoughts. ]
