WHO: Thor and Onyx!
WHERE: SOME FANCY RESTAURANT
WHEN: the day of this post.
WARNINGS: none!
SUMMARY: what you mean murder isn't the most effective way to right wrongs? well, if you say so...
FORMAT: quicklog!
[ She'd said ten minutes, but it's really more like 20 before she shows up. It's shameful to be late when you can teleport, of course, but then that's only if you're trying to get there on time. "Fashionably late." She likes that the humans have invented a word for this preferred arrival time of hers.
So, 10 minutes later, Onyx strolls in through the doors like she owns the place, dressed as nicely as she could manage on short notice. Which is to say, as nicely as the best-dressed woman she had the patience to wait for to stroll across the mouth of her dark alley had been dressed. She casts a quick glance around to look for this supposed god she's to meet with. She's still not convinced actual gods can be caught up by the Porter at all, but at the very least it probably means he's a man of considerable power. That will do. ]

She slides into the seat across from him, gaze already steadily fixed. ]
She that wronged me, actually.

This goddess you speak of - is she fair and dark-haired, crowned with horns of gold?
no subject
If she is?
no subject
That is no goddess. 'Tis my brother, the god of mischief, wearing the guise of a woman. Say what ill he has brought you, and I'll find him by the day's end.
no subject
It wasn't him. I'm talking about Aphrodite, "Goddess of Love".
[ she couldn't sound more scornful if she tried. ]

What has she done?
no subject
That's an awfully personal story.

How can I seek to undo this crime if I know not what it is?
no subject
Whatever he's having, I'll have the same.
[ At least the interruption has this going for it, though: she has a little extra time to try and figure out if pride or revenge is more important. ]

Then we shall both have wine.

After a few seconds: ] The god at fault isn't your brother. Do you still care how it's handled?
no subject
Aye. Aphrodite will see reason, I've no doubt.
no subject
Why involve yourself?
no subject
Mortals live not for the amusement of gods, and Aphrodite's Olympus has long been Asgard's ally.

I can handle my own affairs. I don't need a mediator.
no subject
If I have offended thee, I meant no harm.

So she strides forward and around the table, one hand snapping out to grab for his wrist. If she makes contact, they'll be whisking away quite suddenly to an empty parking lot in a mostly rundown and abandoned neighborhood, and too bad about the wine. ]
