SUMMARY: Teens and young adults in an RV driving to NJ to have a drunken bonfire. What could possibly go wrong???

Jessica was beyond excited. In the days leading up to the RV trip, she barely shut up about it. Even as she boarded the RV Laura had procured for their adventure and took the shotgun seat, she could barely stop talking. It was a beautiful day in the City, and the weather reports for their destination in Southern New Jersey called for blue skies and sunshine. It would be perfect beach-going weather, and it was bound to be the perfect summer night!

[Laura makes a little noise that might actually be a laugh, though it's hard to tell.]

I think that might be beyond you.

Yeah, probably. [He laughs just a little bit.]

But you're not alone, okay?

[Well, she knows she isn't. She doesn't know how she feels about it, but she knows it. She actually seems rather content to stay quietly curled up with him right now.]

Oh, and I'd prefer it if your healing factor made it so you can't get drunk again. I like it better when I'm the one who loses the contests.

[Just sayin'. Oh, and he nuzzles her slightly.]

...So do I.

[She sighed, her eyes closed now, not minding the nuzzling at all, oddly. From the thin sound of her voice, there's probably a decent chance she's falling asleep.]

[He doesn't say anything more, since he can tell from her breathing that she's falling asleep, and if she's comfortable, then he wasn't going to wake her. Tom shifts a little to get more comfortable, watching the waves come in while Laura sleeps.]

[And Laura does fall asleep, a sign of just how hard the alcohol hit her...and apparently she does trust Tom. Lucky him. ...Sort of.]

[She won't be waking up for ages, though...he may be stuck.]
