Jessica was beyond excited. In the days leading up to the RV trip, she barely shut up about it. Even as she boarded the RV Laura had procured for their adventure and took the shotgun seat, she could barely stop talking. It was a beautiful day in the City, and the weather reports for their destination in Southern New Jersey called for blue skies and sunshine. It would be perfect beach-going weather, and it was bound to be the perfect summer night!

People keep saying that. But I'm not a mutant. I didn't get powers until I got here and the porter made me into Multiple... Girl, I guess.

[Okay let's go underwater now, Jessica! Don't worry there's still a teke shield keeping water out and air in, so no problem. Julian takes them a little further out and goes deeper, so they can maybe see marine life or something. Does anything live in the sea at New Jersey? Well we'll find out.]

So the Porter gave you powers? That's pretty cool. Multiple Girl. We should all form a superhero team or something.

A jellyfish! Look!

[The water is a bit murky, but she's pretty sure that's what they're looking at. Either way, this is really exciting!]

Well, I didn't pick the name Multiple Girl. I picked something else. If we had a team I think I'd change it though.

Jellyfish, huh? [He looks where she's pointing and turns to grin at her] Let's go say hi. [He takes them forward, a bit slower now so they don't terrify any small jelly-like things. Or attract anything bigger, he supposes that's also an option, but this is fun and he can totally deal with that. After a few minutes they find themselves in the middle of a school of tiny, faintly glowing jellyfish.] Huh. They're kinda cute.

So what name did you pick? Mine is Hellion. Probably won't change that ever.

They're adorable! Oh my gawd! [She giggles, waving at them. She's drunk, it makes sense kind of.] I picked the first thing that came to mind: Magenta Galaxy.

[He laughs and moves them on, through the jellyfish and further on to float alongside a group of fish of some kind. Then he takes them back out of the water and lets the shield drop again]

Magenta Galaxy, huh? Why that? Remind you of something?

[She just shrugs, waving a hand dismissively.]

Well, I like pink. And I want to be a star... It's totally lame, I know.

It's not lame. [Why does she keep putting herself down like that? She shouldn't do it.] You want to be famous? Nothing wrong with that.

Well, I mean, back home I'm kinda semi-famous. I had a small part on a soap opera. And I do pageants sometimes. I mean, I'd rather be a celebrity than a superhero.
