[Just because she was in a different dimension and possibly dead was no reason to slack off on her training. Meiran still got up early, finding empty lots and parks to practice in before the dojo opened.  She couldn't keep her title of being the best in her clan if she didn't find a way to surpass her husband soon.]

[She walked down the street, eying the few others out at this time, heading for the same park Wufei kept dragging her to. Meiran was a little slower today, working kinks out of her shoulder as she walked. She'd went a little to hard the day before and her muscles protested going again instead of taking time to rest. But Merian had a goal to accomplish and her stubbornness refused to allow herself to lose anytime on completing it.]

[It just so happens that Himuro chose this particular park to go for her morning runs, as it's normally pretty empty this time of day. She'd already done her usual stretches before a brisk walk over to the park, and was just crouched down near the park gates, checking her shoelaces.

It was pretty unusual to see anyone else at this hour, especially a girl that looked younger than herself. So she nodded at her, not much of a greeting, but an acknowledgment.]

[Meiran paused from stretching out her arms, momentarily staring at the older woman. Then she dipped her head in an answering nod, raising a hand slightly. She continued into the park, keeping a warily eye on the other woman as she did.]

[She stood and stretched her arms over her head one last time, then glanced back at Meiran. Normally she didn't really talk to anyone when she was out in the morning, but since the girl looked like she was going to be jogging too...so it couldn't hurt.]

Don't run on the path that heads east. It's too uneven.

[She paused and nodded hesitantly. Culture dictated she should show respect to her elders and the woman did seem older. She kept her tone as even and as free of her usual gruffness as possible.]

[Himuro was ready to go, and normally she wouldn't hesitate to begin her morning workout routine, but something about that girl made her pause. She was typically the only one out at this time of the day...couldn't hurt to make conversation.]
