There was something different about her. It was the sort of thought that just wouldn't stay down, though Thor was trying not to let it distract him. There were more important things to think of: he would have been beyond glad to have seen anyone from Asgard (other than Loki, whom he had just seen, and who mostly made him suspicious), but Sif - Sif, he had specifically missed. Sif and Balder, more than anyone.

He landed in front of the MAC, oblivious to the stares he drew.

Sif wasn't oblivious to the differences in the people from Asgard. Loki especially. But she realized it was a difference in realities that created these differences, and hoped to the All Father that this was her Thor. Or close enough. He seemed close to being like her Thor.

It took her a little while to find the MAC from where she'd been, still too new to the city, but when she did she broke out in the brightest of smiles at the sight of her friend. "Thor!" She called out, rushing to his side and as oblivious to the staring as he was. "I am so glad to see you here."

Thor beamed at the sound of his name, and clapped his hands on her shoulders fondly. "And--" he faltered, seeing those small differences. It was not unlike the Scarlet Witch, he recalled - but that was strange to think on; she had been so unlike the Wanda he had known. This was Sif, he reminded himself. How much could she have changed, and what did it matter?

"And I you, my lady," he said, pulling her into an embrace. He drew back after a moment. "You must tell of Asgard."

Sif was grateful when Thor pulled her into an embrace. She had wanted to so badly, a true way to greet her oldest friend, but those little differences admittedly confused her. And with Thor she was afraid of making mistakes. That embrace helped to set the mood, though. To help her relax around her old companion.

"Asgard is as it always is, Thor. Bright and beautiful," She beams at that. "When were you last there?"
