Tomorrow night will be more of the same
WHO: Jason Todd (
lolnotdead), Sirius Black (
mismanage)
WHERE: The world just revolves around Jason's apartment.
WHEN: Feb 25, late afternoon probably.
WARNINGS: Jason + animals
SUMMARY: There is a dog sleeping on his couch. >:U
FORMAT: Quicklog.
The great thing about working for yourself was, well, being able to call it a day whenever you wanted - that was when all the work was done. Being in charge of the Hoods had its ups and downs. The majority of them were morons and a terrible pain to deal with but it brought in money and it also made it easier for him to keep track of Mobsters, being that he was from the inside and not just one of the other capes.
Today was just one of those days where he decided it would be better to end the day early, so he wouldn't have to beat some of the members to death. They sure as hell knew how to be annoying when they wanted.
Jason opened the door to his apartment with a sigh. There seemed to be no sign of Rose, not surprising. She always liked to slip in and out of the house like a stray cat. He was used to it. Speaking of cats, Jason didn't see his. He peeked inside of hi--Rose's room and there it was, on her pillow, asleep. All was well in the Todd household.
The only thing left to do was for Jason to open a beer, sit down and watch crappy TV shows. And he would have done just that, however, there happened to be a black dog sleeping on his couch.
"The hell?" he glared down at the canine.

Catching Jason's scent, he lazily lay there until his friend was standing over him. Padfoot opened an eye and yawned loudly before slowly -- sloooowly -- rolling over onto his back, still taking up most of the couch. He could certainly use a belly rub.
no subject
Jason put a hand on the dog's stomach and gave it a quick belly rub.
"Alright, now off my couch," he grumbled.
no subject
He looked up at him, a goofy doggy grin on his face, tail wagging, and lightly nipped the edge of Jason's shirt, pulling it as if to say "sit down".

The dog was cute, at least, though he couldn't help the fact that it reminded him of someone. He wasn't sure who.
"Now what?" he looked over to the dog, half expecting it to speak.
no subject
Barely a minute later, Sirius Black walked out, back to the couch, and sat down before speaking. "Bloody good nap you ruined, mate." The usual smile.
no subject
There was no way that was him, it wasn't possible, "Tell me that was not you."
no subject
"It was! But I could lie, if you'd like."
no subject
At least now he knew why the dog seemed so familiar.
"What are you doing here, anyway?"
no subject
"I was taking a stroll in the neighborhood, you know. Got tired. Being a dog takes a lotta work. Fortunately for me, I seem to have gotten exhausted right in front of your place. Thought you might like some company annnnd," he grinned. "The couch is pretty comfy."
no subject
"Yeah a real coincidence, you at my front door," he rolled his eyes. Oh well, it wasn't like he could do much about it now that he was here. "It is comfy and I like it a lot, so it would be wise of you not to shed your dog hairs all over it."
no subject
"So what d'you do for fun around here anyway?" Didn't see any video games lying around.
no subject
Fun, Jason never really had much time for fun, in the partying and playing around sense. It was more like, relaxing when he could. Though recently, it seemed like all Jason's free time ended up going toward spending some sort of time with Sirius.
"Not much, really," he shrugged.
no subject
"We're gonna have to change that, mate. I understand the crime fighting thing's important and all, but you can't spend all your time doing that! 'Sides," he pointed to the TV. "Shows on that thing are rubbish!"
