Black Bolt, King of the Inhumans. ([personal profile] blackagar) wrote in [community profile] capeandcowllogs2011-08-04 11:09 am

i was walking with a ghost

WHO: Black Bolt and you!!!
WHERE: All over the City!!
WHEN: Today/any time this week/WHATEVER YOU WANT REALLY
WARNINGS: none!
SUMMARY: So, a mute man and his giant, teleporting bulldog walked into a bar though the City...
FORMAT: WHATEVER YOU WANT

[ He hasn't gotten used to the City, or this dimension. He hasn't gotten used to being surrounded by humans. He hasn't given up his black and silver suit in an attempt to fit in, and he hasn't done anything to make his giant-sized pet any more acceptable-looking to the common human. This isn't his world, and Black Bolt feels no need or desire to blend into it.

And so he walks, Lockjaw ambling peaceably at his side. Even in a busy city like this, people make hasty room for the odd pair as they walk, and Black Bolt looks at none of the people he passes. His stride is stiff and regal, his expression stern. While he has accepted that he's far removed from his people, and that there is no readily apparent way back, there's no need to accept this place. And so he doesn't. He only walks through it. ]

In the park. :3 I do this because I am terrible and they can't communicate easily. :D

[Bluh, with everything that was going on, AND Azula getting 'ported in, a certain blind girl needs a break! You know, to get away from her prodigous responsibilities of...not doing anything. And it had been awhile since she'd hung out in the park, after all.

So there's a short teenager with long, messy black hair and dirty bare feet sitting on a rock that may or may not have been there before she arrived.

And when the dog? thing appears at the edges of her tremorsense, she'll just hop off that rock and come closer to have a look. What can she say? Large - very large - animals are awesome, and they don't usually let them run around here. Which means that this one is probably extra cool. The guy next to it is given a cursory 'inspection', but DOGGIE is more important.]

Heyyy, is that a dog? He's huge!
tinybutdeadly: (It was thiiiis big!)

Communicators to the rescue. :D

[Pff, this isn't as big as Appa was. She's been licked by a tongue bigger than her, so a big of large dog slobber ain't no thang. She laughs when it happens, nimble fingers finding Lockjaw's ears to scratch behind them.]

Nice dog, man. Haven't seen one this big in the City before.

[Weird that he's not talking, though. Still, she'll get to know the dog first before pressing the issue. Doggydog. Aww.]

[Honestly, she can feel the movement of his head through his bodily vibrations; it wasn't that hard to tell that he'd nodded. But most other gestures? Yeah, unlikely.

Based on the big dog and the large berth everyone else was giving them, it's not that hard to figure out that they must be newly-imported or something.]

You must be Imports, huh? Pretty new, haven't heard anything about really big dogs around.
tinybutdeadly: (But all I hear is blah blah blah)

Not much of a talker, huh.

[After a moment longer of petting the dog, she fishes her communicator out of her pocket.]

The comms have a thing that makes text into speech, you know. We can talk that way.

[After movieverse!Bumblebee and Nill, she had this thing figured out.]
