[Keiko had taken over the living room pretty much the second Yusuke left. It really didn't matter, with all that was going on this really only left her and Blue in the house, and she really doubted he would say anything about the work station she'd set up there.

While it wasn't exactly unusual to see her studying, this was becoming excessive. As the Dark Tournament and the fight with Sensui had proven, Keiko didn't deal with worry and stress well. And right now she was very worried about her fiance running off to fight in another country and all the tension in the City.

So, to keep her mind off of it she was sitting in her pajamas in the middle of the floor trying to teach herself French.]

[Keiko didn't get up until the second or third knock, grabbing the robe she's left draped over the couch to try to look more presentable. She paused before opening it, taking a moment to worry further. She hadn't expected anyone to come over today and she'd heard that when people died in war the news was delivered to the family in person. This wasn't a war and Yusuke was no soldier, but it still made her still a moment. But then she took a breath and put on a smile to try to look pleasant.

But as soon a she opened the door the smile slid into a look of shock.]

Baroona?

Hey.

Can I come in?

[Keiko nods, stepping back to let him enter. She keeps watching him, confused.]

I've been studying.

[She starts frowning.]

Where have you been?

In a park. [] Yusuke didn't tell you?

No. [maybe] But you didn't wait to talk to him before you left did you? Not like I asked.

He would've stopped me.

[What is leading up to a conversation?]

That wouldn't have been a bad thing.

No, it wouldn't. You have a home here, he just wants you to stay in it.

I didn't come here to argue.

[She stands her ground, watching him with a displeased expression.]

Then why did you come back? [She pauses.] I mean, you can come here when you want, but why?

Yusuke asked me to.

Because he was so convinced something was going to happen. You worried something will?

[She nods.] I guess I should have expected that.

[She gestures around the room/]

I'll have to clean it sometime. [It's either clean or argue more. She starts grabbing up books.]
