SUMMARY: A night of salsa dancing was the perfect way to catch up with people and meet new friends, Sofia wasn't quite prepared for what people consider dancing

The dance hall is downtown, near a few bars. Cheerful salsa music is playing, and some songs have an instructor guiding the newbies through. The rest of the songs, are a free for all.

There's a seated area for anyone needed to grab a drink after a fast dance. Sofia is there, grabbing a coke while she waits for her friends.

Oh, then I will call around more often and we can do things.

[hellionated]

Okay then. [ He is smiling too much now. So he leans a bit into her to hide it, pulling her closer so that he’s talking more into her ear. ] You remember that summer, when I wanted you to come stay? Be kinda like that. [ IGNORING the fact that they were dating then. Not even relevant, at all. ]

[wind_dancer]

[His lips by her ears may just have made her shiver] We don't have a swimming pool in our apartments

[hellionated]

[ He felt that shiver. He turns his head, brushing her ear slightly when he talks this time. The whisper is very soft. ] We can fly to the beach in a few minutes.

[wind_dancer]

Stop that [she murmurs in a tone that suggests she does not want him too] I can't think clearly.

[hellionated]

Huh? [ Turning his head a little more. ] Stop what?

[wind_dancer]

The ear thing [her fingers grip a little tighter into his back]

[hellionated]

Sorry, beautiful. [ He turns so that he's not brushing it anymore. He probably looks unbearably smug right now so it's a good thing she can't see. ] Better?

[wind_dancer]

Yes...shall we get a drink? [she's feeling very warm after that]

[hellionated]

[ He moves back, releasing her but schooling his face into a less offensive smile as he goes. Her cheeks look kind of flushed, which he's secretly pleased about but he doesn't say anything. ]

Sure. You know, you're a good teacher.

[wind_dancer]

I'm only good because I enjoy it so much

[hellionated]

Enjoyed it myself. [ He's headed to the juice bar. ] You want another coke? Or something else?

...

There's a few bars near here too. You know, in case you wanted to like...go to one, after.

[ Smooth, so smooth. ]

[wind_dancer]

I'll try what ever you are having [she glances back at the dance floor and laughs at a particularly ridiculous pair of dancers]

I wouldn't mind going to one [Sofia says tucking a strand of hair behind her hair]

[hellionated]

[ He just orders cokes for both of them. While the server's off getting them, he turns back to her. ]

Okay. Good. I know one that won't be too full, we could go there.

[wind_dancer]

It sounds good [she raises a curious eyebrow] have you been to many bars around here?

[hellionated]

[ Oh don't ask things like that... ]

A couple. Why? [ So very cagey. ]

[wind_dancer]

I was just wondering how you knew which was the best one to go to.

[hellionated]

Hey, you never know when that sort of info's gonna come in handy.

[wind_dancer]

And just how many times have you been in [there is just a hint of that Sofia stern, not approving tone]

[hellionated]

[ All the stalling. ]

Uh, a few times. Why, what's it matter?

[wind_dancer]

I ...just don't think it's great you are going around a lot of them

[hellionated]

I didn't say a lot.
