[ Marla's standing at the doors of the mall, puffing boredly on her cigarette. she's here to see Ned and after everything that went down with this stupid place, she's grateful for a distraction.

her therapy group was canceled because of the zombies a few days ago, so she's got nothing better to do with her time. except spend it with a pie maker, it seems. ]

[He shuffles up to the door, wrinkling his nose slightly at the smoke. Ned was always willing to help out a friend, and despite her oddities Marla was surely one. Taking a minute to think, he wondered if Peter was his only male friend in the City. Was that strange? He had never had enough friends to make a comparison before.]

H-hi. [he cleared his throat, trying not to let the awkward of being alone with her completely take over.] You haven't been waiting long, have you?
