SUMMARY: Slick starts making plans, and Bender's part of em'.

[The joint's a place that he's been to a few nights, but this time, he's here on business. A few extra bills to the waiter nets him a table at the back, away from the hubbub of the dinner crowd. Slick orders a burger medium-rare and taps the blunt handle of a switchblade against the scratched wood impatiently.

When was this guy going to show up?]

[Bender shows up in his usual super cool manner, brushing past the waitresses to make his way to the table at the back. He slides in to the seat opposite, attempting to look as cool as possible. He's wearing a trenchcoat, just to look his shadiest.]

You're that Slick guy, right?

You got that right.

[He side-eyes the coat.]

Nice getup. You're going to need it in this line of work.

Thank you! I stole it from a coat rack.

[He reaches into his chest compartment and pulls out a rather large cigar before lighting it and giving a few puffs. He has to look tough, after all.]

Nah. Ever since Deuce put explosives in one for a heist, I've been off smokes.

[That little shit would probably mix em' up, too. Couldn't ever be overly reliant on an explosives expert]

I'm going to ask you again, though. You think you're up for this? It's not a fucking walk in the park.

I've raided plenty of stores in my time, Slick. I know what I'm doing. Besides, walking the park hurts my feet.

I've got plans of a bank off of a reliable informant. There'll be more muscle waiting at the scene.

[He slides an envelope over]

[He picks it up and slides it into his coat pocket.]

Understood! Now, in terms of money, I propose a 60/40 split, with me getting 60, since I'm so generous.

[A sigh. Geez, if a guy wanted to get help in this city, he really had to pay arm and leg, didn't he?]

You'll have to work for that sixty, you know that?
