[Marco stares past his reflection into a store window, inspecting the dolled-up manequins with jealousy. He sighs and glances to his companion on this moneyless shopping excursion.] Another thing I did not miss about this place: not being able to afford even a cufflink.

He made an impression on some people. Let's go. [With a shake of her head she turns to walk back the way she and Marco had come, to reach the small outdoor cafe.]

[He follows the two and takes a seat on the end. Four seats. Aah, how depressing...]

How long ago did you get here, Marco-kun? There are rumors that this town gives special powers...

[Slipping his jacket off his shoulders and onto the chair, he gives Kisaragi a knowing smile. This is just all so familiar.] It's a complicated story either way. A few days so far, a few months two years ago. [He shrugs, clearly not interested in this part of the story.] However, I was just about to ask you the same, Kisaragi. Anything... new about you?

Answer the question first, Marco. [She idly flips through a menu left on the table, feigning disinterested in this avenue of conversation. Though she really would like to find out Kisaragi's power, too.]

[Kisaragi looks between the two. The renown ice empress was certainly not one to mess with and Marco's response was confusing at best. He didn't remember an absence from years ago.]

I don't really understand... You were here two years ago?

[Pffsh, what is a menu. Kisaragi will apologize for taking forever by the time the waiter makes his way to the their table.]

[With a wave of his hand, he dismisses Himuro's demand. His attention is on Kisaragi now.] Strange, isn't it? I didn't remember it myself until I returned... It's like déjà vu, I'd say. Except real.

[She's certainly not happy about being ignored; and she's sending a severe look Marco's way, even as she addresses Kisaragi.] We both were. Then we left. I came back last December.

And between that time, Gaou-kun was here and also left. It's a tragedy...

[Finally turning back to Himuro, he jumps in alarm at the face she's wearing. Proceed carefully, Reiji...] Gaou. Yikes. That doesn't seem fair to the city, though I'm sure he had his fill of fun.

You weren't the one cleaning up after him, at least. [She shakes her head and her expression softens, though she still doesn't look too happy.] It doesn't matter, he's gone. It's just us three.

[Kisaragi nods, slowly looking from Marco to Maria and then back to center. Welp, his presence just dissipated a little.]

[Shaking his head, he clears away the daydream (nightmare?) of what Gaou must have done in such a place. He carefully arranges his face to a smooth, friendly smile, and looks back to Kisaragi.] Never mind that. Have you discovered your... ah, new talent, Kisaragi-kun?
