WHEN: tomorrow afternoon? if that works
WARNINGS: Terezi can be a warning unto herself
SUMMARY: Terezi furthers her 1NV3ST1G4T1ON I mean investigation of Eridan by 1NT3RROG4T1NG I mean interrogating--wait I mean interviewing his moiral.
FORMAT: whatever you please.
Terezi has never been terribly impressed by places with white or gray walls--it makes everything smell the same. Bland.
But she grinned nonetheless as the guard led her to Edward's room. It was a grin that was full of teeth, but that didn't diminish the fact that when the guard deposited her at Edward's room and announced that he had a visitor she looked like a slight, small-figured human girl with candy-corn horns. The guard would no doubt be glad to be rid of her--aside from her disquieting grin, she had no doubt "accidentally" tapped his ankles with her walking cane a few times.

It was a thought he couldn't help.
"Shall I get you a seat?" Normally he wouldn't offer, but Terezi was a young girl with an overeager stick. Part of Eddie feared for his own ankles.

That was Terezi's way of accepting his offer. She obviously couldn't notice his preoccupied gaze, but she was observing him in her own way--sniffing at him without shame, in fact, that sharp grin still in place.

"On your right," he clarified as he set down the chair. It was close enough to his own bed that he could sit comfortable in conversation. "I rather have a few questions myself, actually, I figured this could be a little fun exchange. I'm not overly familiar with Eridan's past you see, and I would love an unbiased record."
no subject
"Fishing behind his back for information? You must not make a very good moirail!"
Her grin tempered down to a smirk as she straightened in her seat. "But I might feel like indulging you if you answer my questions thoroughly."
no subject
"Goodness, you do know how to push a deal, don't you?" Eddie found himself rather delighted by the girl, as forthright and bold as she was. "Very well. What can I answer for you?"
no subject
"Eridan's been getting himself into a lot of trouble lately," she begins sweetly. "Were you aware?"
no subject
It occurred to him that such a reaction, to this girl, was rather strange.
"He's already suffered negative consequence at the hands of Kanaya and Rose."

Though she didn't look the part, Terezi had played the part of prosecutor more than once in the past. And she enjoyed it. She was smiling in a way that hid her teeth rather than showing them off.
"Obviously the consequences weren't serious enough. He's still making all kinds of threats and causing trouble."

Edward shrugged, leaning a bit forward. He figured Terezi would feel the effect of his edging presence.
"It's understandable, really. His ego suffered something terrible after Kanaya tortured him. He wants to save face."
no subject
"Is that so."
Normally interrogation was all about the silence--oppressive silence, preferably accentuated by bright lights and a looming threat of execution--but a moirail isn't entirely responsible for the actions of their significant other. And this technically remains an interview, so she'll give him a little bit to go on.

And NOHoPE was fairly compromising.
"If you're trying to prevent an outburst from him, I'd say watch for his influential forces."

Her smile widens for a brief second, just enough to flash her teeth, and then settles back down into its milder state.
"And what would those be in your opinion, Mr. Nygma?"
no subject
"I understand the appeal of dark throes between youth, but I can't say I wholeheartedly approve of his consorting with Gamzee. It isn't as if the clown has a positive influence on Eridan," he said with a mildly solemn air. "What with being so homicidal and all."

"Why shouldn't he, I wonder? Folly of age aside, I have his best interests in mind." Eddie wondered how deeply this girl, this Terezi, knew about his ward. How much she knew, and how much she wasn't going to inform.
"But perhaps he can't appreciate that."
