[ There are just a few things Jensen needs to be happy during his stay here in the City. One is a roof over his head. Another is people not trying to kill him for once. And the third is a place he can actually go and have a drink after a long hard day spent doing...

Well, nothing, admittedly. He still doesn't have a job, but he's definitely vaguely sort of started to consider perusing the ads in the newspaper to see if something doesn't look completely awful. And with the money he's being given for free he hasn't exactly been completely strapped for cash. Free place, free cash, as long as he didn't do any big spending he could probably spend the rest of his stay living like this.

He should probably get a job though. First thing in the morning. He was making that vow right now.

But first, he was going to enjoy a nice cold one in peace. ]

[ jen spends most of her time studying for her bar exam. hey, if this sin't her world and they have no record of what was happening back home, she could totally pick up lawyering again, right?

but even then, shes' a bit of a barmonger, which is why she's getting herself a nice beer and ignoring the looks that are being thrown her way too. nothing new.

there's a guy at the bar counter who catches her attention though and she grins, sliding over ]

Jensen looks up, not necessarily expecting someone to be talking to him, much less THE She-Hulk. Grinning at her as she moves over towards here. ]

Starting too. It's the closest place I found to the apartments that actually cleans the glasses.

The crowd around here isn't too bad either.

[ taking a careful seat so she doesn't, you know, break the bar chair, holding out a hand ]

It definitely just got a lot better.

[ Reaching out to take her hand and shake it. A fairly firm handshake, since he's pretty sure she could break his hand long before he could break hers. ]

[ she smirks, pulling her hand back after a moment and resting her chin against it ]
