[Arthur spots her almost right away, and doesn't close his phone. There's a tinny voice on the other end saying WE DID BRING YOU THE FREESIA DID YOU CHECK THE WALK IN FRIDGE?]

[ Somehow she's completely not intimidated. ]

[He looks her over quick and talks into the phone]

I checked, they're not there, we need another order or we're not paying.

[And he hangs up. Phone away, it's already ringing but he's ignoring it]

[ She looks a bit amused. ]

Zee's. Let me guess, you're that manager she's talked about.

Arthur.

[He doesn't offer his hand but instead a nod]

Was she in a good mood at the time or a terrible one?

[ Selina gives him a tiny shrug. ]

I forget. She said she had a new manager after booster was ported out.

Then just a mention.

[ She was pretty sure Zee had mentioned it, but she had forgotten. ]

[ She leans back against the wall, looking far too comfortable. ]

So how did you get mixed up with Zee?

I answered an ad for a manager.

[ She clearly didn't expect that answer. ]

[He almost seems amused]

I needed a job.

[ Well, she's glad to see a sign of a sense of humor, at least. ]

[ Still, he's not quite what he first appears. ]

[ Or so she assumes because most worlds don't seem to have magic. ]
